The pianist is Igor Krutoy, a famous Russian composer. He actually came out of retirement because he wanted to work with Dimash. This is his composition. Dimash certainly has a lot of energy; at his Almaty concert he said he could do five more concerts after it! He earned the title "Security Killer" because when the mood strikes him in the midst of a concert he'll jump off stage and perform while running through the crowd and his security team has to be on their toes and keep up. He does put a ton of training in and has for his entire life. He does things like training under water! He's very dedicated and doesn't just leave it to whatever his natural talent can do for him; he's always pushing himself and trying new to things so that he can constantly build on his skill set. Igor Krutoy is more than just "the pianist"; he is a renowned Russian composer, songwriter, singer, and arranger with a decades-long career. After hearing Dimash sing, Krutoy chose to come out of retirement specifically to collaborate with him. Since then, he has composed, written, and occasionally rearranged his earlier music for Dimash to perform. Together, they form one of the most influential musical partnerships of our time.

He had no contract with Dimash - they both had a like father/son relationship. Krutoy once day said: It’s a dream you can compose everything you want - Dimash can do it. All what will be left from my ciriculum is, that I worked with Dimash 😂

Igor Krutoy is very famous in Russia and as others have said, is a billionaire. In fact when looking him up when I first staring watching Dimash, I noticed he has a $48 million dollar condo in NYC and an $18 million estate in Southampton.
Anyway, thanks for another reaction. Dimash's English gets better every year. On that Chinese show he couldn't speak it at all. & you could tell when he sang a spectacular version of Queen's "Show must Go On". Even with him singing phonetically, and pronouncing some words wrong, it was a showstopper. Now he can speak and understand English and his accent is so much better. Try " Stranger (new wave 2021)". Performance within Russia but sung in English it is unbelievable. Highly recommend. And it's live. Dimash is actually a judge in the show I believe but he performed a few songs also.
The audience was not there for a Dimash performance but rather for an international women's event and their response seems a bit muted simply because Russian audiences don't jump up and down or stand for performances they appreciate but rather just applaud respectfully. It's a cultural thing that is sometimes hard to understand-----especially after performances that are as spectacular as this one was.
European audiences are more subdued than in other places in outward showing of appreciation, but they definitely were not unimpressed with this performance.
