It’s a perfect trigger for what it’s advertised as.

So I have this in my duty ADM carbine and after some shooting and lots of dry fire the reset becomes much more tactile and the pull weight definitely decreased by about a 1/2 pound. It’s very fast and in my opinion the best trigger for the price on the market. Absolutely love this trigger.

Forgot to add that it’s a full power spring unlike a lot of other cassette style triggers.

It does matter. First impressions make a hell of a difference

I have one of these triggers and the reset on mine seems to shorter than yours. I also noticed you didn't tighten the snug down screws, I don't know if that will make a difference or not.

It does make a difference. I just didn't want to snug them down in the jig. Definitely better in a lower properly installed.

I considered this for a minute. Having the PSA 3.5 Match, AIM SSTAT (prob not a good comparison) I decided to go with the CMC 3.5.

Just put one of these in my lmt. Haven't been to the range with it yet but looking forward to that this weekend. I've never had one of these cassette style before and I was against them based off the pretty bad reviews on the older technology but figured I'd step out a little bit and try.

@BlackRifleMedic update: so I was very well pleased with the overall function. I was also sighting in so during the process of that, I was really paying attention to the pressure needed to release the hammer and it was very consistent. The amount of overall travel is more of something I'd like in a precision rifle but was helpful while sighting in, I guess. I will say after I got sighted in and started playing, the over travel wasn't really that noticeable. Personally, I don't believe the little bit of over travel there is would be significant to the end user as a duty trigger, maybe it would be for competition shooting but I wouldn't know anything about that anyways.
Just based on the consistency of pull and feel of everything, I'd definitely give it a pass. The fact that it was only 130 bucks, low maintenance and duty rated, I'd suggest it as a top choice. And with a giessele ssa-e and high speed national match in my collection, I'm admittedly kind of a trigger snob.

It definitely is a duty trigger, I like that it is not too light. It's definitely safe. Thanks for the update I appreciate it

@BlackRifleMedic I would definitely agree. It's not the kind of trigger you can "think" your way past the break as opposed to my giessele match. And thank you sir for the video!

Is it because it's the duty line and not the competition line 🤤

Great video, thanks. They have a pretty good sale going on their website right now, and I want to get one, but still trying to figure if I should get the single stage or the two stage. Why did you pick the single and are you happy with your choice?

Thank you! I got the single stage because it was going on my 10.5" and accuracy isn't really the main focus for that one. I'd definitely do 2 stage for a more precision build. I like it quite a bit. I'd say that it's better than the geissele I took out.

Why is there a separate duty trigger for ar10 and ar15? Thought they were interchangeable.

    • @BlackRifleMedic
      @BlackRifleMedic  Рік тому +2

As far as I know they are. They will warranty your AR-15 trigger In a AR-10. Also From what I understand the AR10 trigger has a stronger hammer spring for harder primers.

And a heavier hammer for the ar10

Hi do you know if the 3.5 has any difference in the spring weight?

The whole purpose is to provide a duty trigger as per operator requests
