One thing I have always loved about cats is they telegraph their thoughts and feelings through their body language. They are honest by nature as people who don't even have cats can pick up on the tail, fur, eyes, ears.... They have many channels to convey.
My uncle’s cat hate everyone but me. She chose me over her own owner and family. Recently I went to see my uncle and she knew it was me and she laid on her back because she knew I was coming. One time she came in the kitchen and sat on a chair next to me and touch my arm with her paw and everyone was like she never did that to anyone but you(me).
My cat was living on the street near my home for nearly 10 years. Sweetest little orange girl I’ve ever seen, always woke up and came to say hello when I got home from work. Brought her inside before a major ice storm, and she just loved cuddling up with me at night. She would sit on my chest from the minute I laid down until it was time for work… totally shocked me the first couple of times it happened! Started just calling her “friend” since she never told me her name :)) She slept on my chest right up until the night she died, even though she could barely walk. Her body just stopped producing red blood cells, and she had no energy for several days. Always regretted not taking her to the vet more often, and I still miss her months later. Treasure the moments you have with them.

@@Adelicows Not all people are rotten as you say. The really bad ones are cruelly abusive to their pets. Some others try their best to find new homes for their pets and are unsuccessful. I know that some people don’t realize having a pet is a real commitment for the life of the pet and it’s why so many pets end up in kill shelters or on the street. Some owners are very old and have to live in nursing homes and are unable to have their beloved pets.

That's often not true, I was in this situation in the past and ended up trying to "adopt" those kitties, they stayed for a good 2 days at my house and then dipped. And I found them at their usual spot chilling on a park bench 😂 they still stay there !

That little kitty looks like a little street cat that taught himself how to come into our house and decided to stay. He adopted us. We named him Buddy, he was one of the sweetest beings I've ever known. He was with us for 16 years, and continues to have a special place in our hearts.❤ Buddy.

You could totally save the life of many cats that are in need... Why pray that somebody else will? It's easy to project that need on somebody else but you don't know their circumstances. There are millions of stray cats.... Many are probably near your home. Why haven't you rescued them? Perhaps the situation is more complex. Not every person can adopt a cat much less all of them... At least they are going around to feed them and give attention. That is a good thing

The street kitty that I took home was living at my villa I go there during the summer mostly and I decided to take it home for the entire winter but I took it back after 2 days in my apartment it just looked so depressed indoors. My neighbors live at their place year round so there's always some food for the kitty. Maybe it was lonely too since there were 7 other cats and kittens besides it

Case in point, my cat guards my at my bathroom door while I take a poop in the toilet. As I nod off to bed, she stares down at the hallway from my bed as I get situated in. When I move and move around the house she moves and situates herself within the windows and watches animals, including people.
