Im Gen X so our granparents passed down why those bombs were dropped. , so we know a little bit more about what happened , those bonds were dropped to stop The war. It did exactly as we expected. THey surrendered immediately. It wouldn't win on and on and on. Can you imagine how long we went on and how many lives would have been lost? And no I don't really have a bad feeling about dropping them on japan back then. Our country wanted no part in WW2 and Japan dragged the USA into it when they attacked us while our ships were in port in Hawaii. . Do you have any idea what they did to American prisoner of wars in japan. Things of nightmares Japan started with us.We ended it.

Why are you upset? Calm down. My grandpa was in that war too and he would love this channel. He loved entertaining people. He was a joker. A prankster and plus, they are Canadian,so they can’t see it from American points of view. They were too busy helping England fight Germans. My geandpa was a German. After the war he was always telling jokes. RIP WW2 Grandpas and Ma’s.

I understand drastic measures have drastic consequences. Yet we have to recognize those actions were not order from all Japanese but from those in power and aldough we knew that who still payed for it the people that had no fault (sorry dont know how to spell inicent?) Including women elders and babys but again is no ones fault but it is a lesson all humanity could learn from i think every one is intitle to their opinion

I'm French Canadian, and the Acadian deportation was part of my high school history class curriculum. Not sure if it's because northern Ontario where I'm from is technically not that far from the East coast or because I went to French Catholic school but we definitely learned about it.

I'm sorry but I have to cry foul here. The Titanic lifeboats were not crammed with survivors. There were quite a few that were only half full. That was part of the problem. There was room for more but they hastily filled only a few people in before they launched the boats, leaving other passengers to freeze to death and/or drown.

      "PROOF, & ITS FORMS -
      BEGAN IN IGNORANCE"
grandpa told us that his tour of p.t.o. in ww2 did cause his cig habit, for his general issued pack of goods included good equipment & supplies..
unfortunately, it also contained one book of matches & one pack of filterless 'lucky strikes', which were traded by a few, but, most started it up thinking they would likely not be going back; to be fair, cancer wasn't thought to be caused in the smoking of these, it had very little research, until too late for soldier and civilian; this went in the box of errors made by a lack of knowledge, which is why we would rather know & beware a dangerous situation..

      "NO FAULT ERRORS - BY
      PERFECT POLITICIANS"
when the second war broke out & after the usa was grappled into it, ours was a broadcasting of the greens recruit into veteran lines, further field trainees, making better numbers in already established posts and fortified areas - grand fathers would yell up tales, mainly griping about many lost neighbors & family for the anguish of combat..
however, one story was a picture of irony, as the new soldiers coming afield had luxury goods, some traded theirs to the long-timers of their ranks, and even a few officers (who never had an opportunity to shop) - that commodity of goods were part of the later duffel-bag sized army packs that they gave to the mass of g.i. for standard issue, including a whole array of useful gear, rations in brown cans that contained '/one jelly roll" & other less mentionables in theit thick skin brown cans that used the beak-shaped can opener to slowly carve the top off for consuming..
the most ironic part this supply duffel contained, in being well known, today : the 20 count match books and either 1 or 2 packs of "filter-less, lucky strikes"

one obscure fact that put that word into existence :
back in the late 1920s, in the russian courts, when it was clear the changing of governorship was leaning toward 'lenin', opposition & other dissenters were few and dwindling from harsh tactics that killed 'his' least favorite people - be aware that we are talking about a 100% caucasian group the world had no easy way for knowing, seeing as how an independent reporter held little hope for his future, if they spoke against 'lenin'..
in the ranks of 'bravest' of idiots, stood 'trotski', an aggressive contender who would show his disdain by using newly developed or translated words & phrase them so to be confusing - there, in that period, today has adopted some of that same way of expressing a phrase or word; technically speaking, when trotski had used a particular word that we have redefined, he said his word 'racist' not to any skin color, but to those his attacks were directed at..
so, using racist against the all-white aristocracy in their procedures (intended to shut down all debates), trotski created something he couldn't have predicted would have such impact & to be used in such a skew, he might not recognize for a modern slang switch..
that is where it originally came from, a white man & his sole use of it was upon his comrades (in the brutal period of russian turmoil) - this trivia is spelled out on the internet search, but we pay no mind to it, because our desired effect by using the word far outweighs the initial purpose, blanketing, rewiring & customizing its actual definition(s), so our translation is vague as for what trotski would admit..
racist is a strange mark, blended into the new age, with the twist of grapevine discoursing, to barely even resemble the first cause of its creation, let alone mind anyone who remembers to give credit to 'the originals' instead of usurping some clear usage for one that is convoluted, mis-defined & lacking of proper stability; what once was, belonging to not one of those living it as if their own, now means more than the word should while maintaining intrigue, that may change any time..

    "MANSA MUSA GOLD

the use of stuff for stuff is vague in origin, and one day it became what would shatter the world, change human mentalities & be a big reason for countless deaths, wars & hatred, starting with pride and arrogance - this has a strong effect on weak minds & darkens they whom would rather be doing things a better way.. the ancients had true freedom, until that was surrendered to be under liquid freedom & that has carried on like no one can exist within a world that does not utilize such exploits..
