Thanks for that - good run through. Touched on things the Apollo video doesn't. I have hired this MH to head off for a few months soon. ( had booked twice in 2020, but both had to be cancelled due to Covid). Was originally going to be 2 of us - other party has pulled out due to work commitments, so I will be touring in this lovely big motorhome, solo. More room to move around! And agree about the great deal - I too got for around $72 a night. Just a note - I would have swapped down to the 2 person Euro as now traveling solo, but Apollo wouldn't let me. And to do a new hire was very expensive.
That's a great price considering what they are asking at the moment. It's a beast of a van around the city, but on the open roads it's easy to drive. And all the space really is awesome. Have a good trip!
Yeah that was my intention when I made the video. The info that Apollo provide is quite light on, so hopefully this additional info in my video is useful!
@@Pergidulu It's definitely given us peace of mind. We've booked this camper for New Zealand, we're flying over on Friday and weren't sure if our luggage would fit, but the storage at the back with the table, chairs and hoses looks like it can store our empty luggage and we can use the storage inside to store clothes. Only 2 adults and 2 kids, so there shold be plenty of space :)
Good one. My one piece of advice would be regarding caravan parks/charging the vehicle. In NZ because you probably won’t be driving massive distances, you’ll probably want to charge the house battery at a caravan park every second day. You’ll also need to get water daily. NZ is fairly negative on what they call “free camping” (parking on the side of the road and sleeping, so you’ll need to get the WikiCamps app to help you find the best spots!
Thanks for the advice. We just returned from holidays and it was interesting to see how much Water we needed to fill up. We used more than we had expected, but there were plenty of stations. The battery storage was pretty good and we only needed to charge up once every 3 days. We had a few issues with the Heater and Water Heater, but a call to Apollo sorted it out for us
@@rawirihinder Just watched this video and saw your initial reaction about luggage space with 2 adults and 2 kids. We will be travelling in this campervan next Feb with 2 adults and 2 children (2 and 4 years). Is there enough storage space in the camper for a couple of medium to small suitcases or how did this work out for you guys?
Having travelled in NSW, did you find any issues with driving and parking in urban areas? We're planning a trip to Tassie in a few months and one of our main concerns is parking in Hobart, ie. whether there will be adequate parking spaces for a vehicle like this.
Hobart city centre is a little bit problematic. You’ll probably need to really drive around a lot to find the right spot on the side of the road and then walk to wherever you want to go.

You win the enthusiasm award with this review.
Great review Adam,
Thanks for the detailed video, you answered all the questions the Apollo videos couldn’t.
Much appreciated!
