I thought all along that this music was recorded in a studio and then played at the right moment for every scene. Amazing that they do this live every show.
Absolutely love that the musicians and singers have costume and makeup. Scoring it live, amazing! I've seen KA 4x and had tickets for my 5th when 2020 pandemic struck and the Sunday show was cancelled(wisely). Looking forward to the time when shows resume and I can be taken on the fantastic journey that is KA.
KÀ is basically my favorite show I love the music Concidering that we did KÁ as our show for marching band so I fell in love with every aspect of this beautiful show
Loved this, gave some insight to all the behind the scenes work. I saw the show back in July and thought it was stunning and dream of coming back to Vegas to see it again plus other Cirque shows. Would like to go behind the scenes myself to. But please release the full KÀ soundtrack on iTunes worldwide, there are so many tracks missing off the KÀ soundtrack and since the shows release I imagine the songs have gotten so much better over time.
I’m starting to wonder about the Gregorian choir portions in the music of Kà. I know it’s not the alto singer or soprano singer’s parts, but there is like a choir that is heard heavily. I wonder who plays those choir sections in the show?
I'd love to "work" as musician for them at the cirque after finishing my studies... it'd be amazing, but i'm not sure if they needed violas... maybe in Mystere?
Strangely, if I recall correctly, the musicians were up in the air on our left side of the stage when I saw the show in 2005. The sound was nothing short of spectacular, with speakers in the seats !!!
I’m confused they record it once or the musicians play it live as it’s happening every show ? I guess to save on money they just have it recorded ? I mean we don’t see them play it so how do we know if they are actually playing live ?
Is this room close to the stage so the musicians can do the curtain call? Sucks to do all that makeup and costuming every show if you're not seen by the audience. :(

Doubt it very much most likely they did that at the beginning but cut corners and have it recorded now 😅 they would blame it on the pandemic 😷

I would go crazy to be singing for the show but rarely ever be on stage!

rowelle they start on stage and come in and out thats why they have the makeup on.
