Cracks me up... in a good way... how your little patch of wild hair in back, that apparently you never see but the rest of us do, is always there. Love your videos. Very calming. Thanks!
I was lucky enough to meet Stephen Twining a few months ago - he is a font of historical information. He told me even though the company is 300 years old, Twinings tea was NOT among the teas destroyed in the Boston tea party.
I have tried both Twinings English Breakfast Tea and Irish Breakfast Tea. Irish is my favorite. The English seems to have peculiar after taste which I believe you need to acquire a taste for. The Irish tea is still just as bold but less bitter I would say. To enjoy both, I just steep the English version for only 2 minutes.
I know what you mean when you say that Twinings English Breakfast has an interesting "sharpness" to it. not quite sour but something sour-adjascent. I love coffee but I love a hot cup of tea with a splash of milk when it's cold out. Thank you so much for the content! I'm glad you're over 80k subscribers now! Wish you the best for 2025. I can't wait to see your channel thrive this year!
I’m an Irish breakfast guy! I enjoy it with whole mile and just a touch of local raw honey! I sometimes put it in the fridge for a nice ice tea on a summer day! Enjoy all!
As far as I understand, Irish breakfast teas generally uses pure Assam tea, giving it a robust and malty flavor, while British breakfast tea typically is a a blend of Assam, Ceylon and Kenyan teas, resulting in a smoother and "rounder" profile.
Irish breakfast tea all the way! But suspect theres not much of a difference 😂 Our go to brands of tea in Ireland would be Barrys or Lyons, havent tried the Twinings myself. Gotta have a splash of full fat milk too Love a Tetley also
@@shivamgandhi5779 I actually found some yesterday in the tea section after you mentioned that to me someday I will get around to trying it as I am so stocked up on tea right now

I tried to cut it and comb it down with water but it won't go away

See, I never liked coffee and never tried it ... just a sip once.

i think you know more about it than I
Have you ever tried Yorkshire Gold? That's my favourite black tea.
I think I saw some a cpl months ago at Publix. I seem to remember the 'Yorkshire'.
How long did you leave the tea bag in the cup? 😂 It looks like espresso! BTW Twinings do some great herbal and fruit teas. Recommended.
Gotta have it the colour of tar or it's not worth drinking in my house haha
1 - 2 minutes it does look strong and used boiled water
@ Too long and the tannin becomes overpowering making the tea bitter and masking the more subtle flavours.
@@AlanHHPardon me,do you have any Grey Poupon?
I remember the commercial, papa
I’m so happy to see your corporate sponsor has returned!
Have you had an opportunity to try a cup of coffee?
haha I wish as they must have deep pockets. No coffee yet but later I will.
I always have sugar and cream in my tea 😊

I tried Tetley last month but was not excited about it. But everyone's tastes vary, don't they?!?!?
I'm surprised you didn't have a war on your table with those two. Like oil and water.
I think you mean English and Irish?!?!?
@CHATTYGRANDPA Yup.
Grandpa, have you ever tried Indian masala tea also known as chai before?
I don't think so but I would try it if I could find it.
@@CHATTYGRANDPAyou can find it in the international section of most grocery stores.

Will there be a continue with Minecraft?
Trippe doesn't do Minecraft anymore due to his health.
@ I see
My eyes cannot work as well with it over last cpl years since my eye surgery and even before
@ okay thanks for explaining
All that is black tea. Just the same. PJ Tips, Tetley, same stuff.. Just make sure water is boiled and let the tea mash properly..
Is this @TheReportOfTheweek from the past, present or from the future? Love it!
