- In the deserts of Southwest Arizona, we're on a mission to find and learn about the infamous Western diamondback rattlesnake! Does this viper truly deserve its bad reputation for aggressive behavior, or is this another case of snake myths travelling further than true facts?
Special thanks to Zach and Spencer for planning this incredible Arizona trip and keeping me safe in the field, and to Bryan for letting us see a rattlesnake relocation in action and share his wealth of knowledge with us.

Patreon is gone for now...I wasn't able to keep up with an additional content stream, and want to provide a better experience for my fans. Looking into alternatives now.
Thanks to Jonathan Malo (Fesliyan Studios) and Ross Bugden for the Western-style background tracks you hear in this video!

If you've made it this far in the description, remember to be safe when creature adventuring! Most wild animals can cause injury if harassed, and I do not recommend attempting to capture any creatures without purpose and practice. The reason that I interact with wildlife is to produce these educational videos, and I am a professional biologist. Also, I always ask permission from a land owner before exploring on their property, and you should do the same.
Keep adventuring everywhere, and keep your adventures safe at all times!

I'm not even particularly interested in snakes but love watching your videos anyway. Well done
Thanks so much! I'm glad to hear you are enjoying my content, and I hope to convert you into a fellow snake enjoyer soon!
Well well well
It only took me 9 months to get around to editing it xD
That snake was so happy to see you. He had hos head up and wagging his tail with excitement.
I loved how you said, "That was incredibly efficient!" Like, yeah!!! Dang, that man was just seamless with identification, strategy, planning, and execution! Holy cow that was smooth the snake didn't didn't even have a moment to be scared!
Bryan is incredible at what he does, truly an expert!
Rattlesnakes are so amazing. Great video, as usual.
They really are. Thank you!
Bro your videos rule. You deserve so much more credit. Keep it up your going to be huge
Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate the support!
Excellent as usual. I saw a version of this trip on Spencer's channel a while back. It was cool that you met up with Bryan Hughes. I heard him give a talk about Rattlesnake relocation and learned many new things. The next species is a mystery but it looks like a boa of some type to me.
Thank you! Yeah Spencer and Zach both have awesome videos out featuring some of the species we saw. Bryan was a cool person to meet!
Thanks for making this video Ben! I love watching rattlesnake solutions.
Been watching snake videos because I'm nervous hiking in the desert 🏜 😬
I did buy shin guards to calm down 😅
Glad you enjoyed, Bryan runs such a great business and channel. Hope you are able to get a little more comfortable with our scaly desert friends watching more rattlesnake videos!
Sweet bro! Was looking forward to the video :) keep up the work man, I’ve learnt a lot from you
Thanks a bunch, glad to hear that!
Title should read: Everything you need to know and MORE!! Bryan is good people, glad you connected.
Excellent video, as always!!
Glad you enjoyed it!
This has to be one of the best installments in the everything you need to know series in a while, WDBs are so iconic and going somewhere where they're the most common snakes around is pretty special. Looking forward to more episodes from Arizona!
Excellent vid as usual. So enjoyable. Love snakes. Thank you.
Thanks for the feedback, glad you enjoyed!
Excellent video Ben. I am a subscriber to rattlesnake solutions as well.
Thank you! Bryan makes some great content.

I think so too!
Awesome, thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much, it was a privilege to work with one!
OMG When the rattler was up in the air and he was kneeling right in front!!!! I would've been SCARED
I subscribe to all 3! Excellent video
That's awesome, thanks for the feedback!
Nice!!
Western diamondback rattlesnakes are really cool
Excellent video! keep up the great work, I’ve learned a lot from your experience.
How much danger does a small western diamond back that particular size would cause to human venom wise ?
Thanks very much! If you are bitten you should definitely seek medical attention, even if it's a baby. Different people can have very different reactions to envenomation.
Subbed! Amazing video!
I lived in Arizona for 10 years and mostly saw Arizona blacks and mojaves. Only saw a couple diamondbacks
Diamondben Rattler
Why is this cursed but also perfect haha
never seen an eastern diamondback? I saw one several years ago... unfortunately it was a pancake on NC 12 near the Cedar Island ferry terminal...
Dang I'd cry if that happened to me.
@@TheWildReportOfficial it was sad- it was a large one, looked to be over 6 feet long.
@@wtliftr1 Dang that really stinks, when the large reproductive adults get killed it can quickly cause local population declines.
Brian sounds a lot like Scott Galloway.
We Were Hiking the Washington Desert of Horse Heavens when I Was About 10 WE Came Across a 6 1/2 ft Western Diamondback My Dad instructed us Younger Kids to Go Back to The Car --& Wait He Got A Shovel - Went With 5-6 16-17 ur old Boys Yi Catch and Kill the Rattler One Wanted. Thanks so much for your kindness and support, Walter! I always prioritize the safety of the animals and myself in the field, it helps to have other wildlife professionals to help out when working with something like a diamondback.
Jesus became sin for us as seen in this verse: Numbers 21:8
And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.
He became sin for us so we could live free from sin!
