You know whose a guy you should trust with your $40k skin?
The guy who is $200k in debt.
I swear this sounds like a Norm Macdonald joke
I was driving when I hit the second confirm bro come on that excludes me from responsibility right.
The guy is reckless his entire life. Living above his means. Fuck it let it be a lesson to him. Keep the skin or sell it for 75% of the listing price
"debt" is wealth, why would you "sell" when you can just get a loan and still own your thing? a loan is not taxed as income, it's just borrowing.
He had to confirm it twice, you can only protect people from themselves so much.
He paid for the gun, he didnt scam anybody. The seller confirmed twice the gun. I would sell back the gun to the seller for 3x the price i bought it for
Yeah fuck him, name it " no refunds" 😂😂😂 and borrow it to a pro for the major
Sharking isn't scamming then.
The people who get sharked still get money they are happy with.
Super different. Sharking is deliberately telling someone their item is worth less even though you know fully what it is actually worth. It is super scummy and is in my opinion scamming. This seller just listed it wrong. It happens but it is 100% the sellers fault. No scamming no manipulation. Just an accident. The kind thing to do is give the item back but keeping it is fully within his right I feel.
@@SwooceCSGO He knew it was a mistake (because the pricing was just missing a zero) and took the opportunity.
Just like "sharks" do. You find somebody, you offer them a price that they are happy with and you end up winning in the process.
Bro was driving, he could have killed someone, needs to take this as a hard lesson
Do I feel sorry for the seller? Could be, but not if he was really driving at the same time. Does Akasha have to return the skin? No.
what are we talking about here? the guy ducked up in such a massiv way its kinda funny. imagine making a irl contract and realize after signing you dont get what you asked for because you just didnt READ what youre ageeing on. Its his fault, its he who is to blame and its him to PAY HIS duckup. end of story
if you use your phone while driving and risk peoples lives knowingly thats kinda karma in my eyes. And yeah I think its somewhat fair to raise an eyebrow at someone owing 200k to banks and family members while having 50k in cs skins, which are an absolute luxury good.
That guy is always gonna double check when he sells after this he definitely traumatized
i say the lister fucked up and the dude who bought it lucked out
Bro bought it legit, and he has no reason to give it back.
The sellers need to learn a life lesson.
Doing things halfassed, will give varied results.
Offering $600 compensation for this situation is like finding a wallet with a million dollars in it, doing the right thing by returning it to the owner and they throw you a fiver. I really have no sympathy when it's business that was done legitimately. If you make a mistake that's not my fault.
And how would you feel when you make accident? Maybe not in steam but in your life & someone gonna make profit out of your accident & blame you.
@@BOSSNumberOneOfficialUA-cam In life, the best lessons you learn are from mistakes.
@@BOSSNumberOneOfficialUA-cam I’m gonna presume logic and common sense aren’t your native language?
there is no something like "doing the right thing" but people that has problems with
hyperempathy will always cry whenever someone isnt sick with it either.
Why did LVC ask an idiot to list his skin? The guy who bought it deserves to keep it as he did nothing wrong. If I was him, I would offer to seel it back to LVC for 2 or 3 times what I bought it for, if he was nice 👍
I would never trust a brokie with something they’ll never be afford to own. Mofo -200k😂 I can’t trust him with anything financially not even $5. He needs to rethink his entire life
"50k in inventory doesn't mean he's magically in a good financial position" I'm pretty sure the reasoning behind that pointing out the 50k is he has roughly 50k IN VIDEO GAME SKINS (not exatly a high living priority) to liquidate if his debts are actually a problem. How about someones inteptitude of financing and financing of game skins doesn't magically become some other person who live's half way across the globes problem just because they got a good deal on a AK skin. Og owner messed up letting his friend make the sell and that's that. Seller even makes the argument "well I was driving when I did the second confirmation" facinating how the hell is that supposed to make me think, "this guy got dealt a bad hand, he did everything right there's no reason he should have to deal with such a situation" no it just makes the whole thing even more self made
shit sucks but i wouldnt give it back tbh, buddy paid for it. Guy shoulda been paying attention
I've been active when this drama was happening, and this is pretty much what exactly happened, and my views on the subject is the same as well.
Great vid!
In czech republic, there's a law called "Unjust Enrichment" (nedovolené obohacení). The trader is Czech, and so, by keeping it, he would be breaking the law.
@@d4vid469 As long as the case is strong (if the old owner ever even opens one) he could have to give it back and get some other punishments, but I doubt the chinese guy will ever even find out there is such a law in our country. Besides, it applies to everything - it just has to be proven somehow (by an "expert" or whatever)
Would it apply though? Bro listed it and confirmed the trade. Looks like a legal and binding "contract" to me, he wasn't decieved in any way...
I highly doubt that the law has anything to do with this. Other countries have ”unjust enrichment ” laws and it has nothing to do with a case like this.
In this case you have a contract between 2 parties and both agreed and the seller even had to do it twice.
@@nekko3559 Depends on the case and all. I'm not a lawyer, but this would be the chinese dude's only chance. Most of us czechs are not honorable 😂 (not incl. me i believe)
He took an L and tried to guilt-trip???? lmao
I mean look the seller didn’t dibble check AND deliver the gun so he fucked up twice the fact that he is blaming it all on being behind the wheel of a car is just making that worse as now he not only fucked the price up and didn’t check but also put other peoples lives on line for being distracted while driving. IMO the buyer has all rights to keep it as the seller was not only reckless but also failed to dubble check two times
How do we know this wasn't a scam with the buyer and seller splitting the money? China is good at faking things, so what if the debt is fake? And even if it isn't, how is it relevant? The owner told him to sell it for a specific price, but the seller messed up the price and confirmed it... twice. The seller is the one who created the situation, not the buyer and not the owner. The seller should liquidate the skins he owns and pay the owner back. If he can't pay all of it, he should pay at least 75%. Also, I bet the owner didn't know the seller was 6-figures in debt when agreeing to use him to sell the skin. Also, the seller admitted to using his phone while driving to sell a $40k skin that he doesn't own? What an absolute 🤡
It doesn’t matter about whether it’s right or wrong there’s no universe where he ever returns the skin
sell skins pay debts
Xeon paid for a very expensive lesson!
fair compensation would be around 8k in usd i feel, 4k of his own money back and 4k for beeing so kind to return the ak.
Exactly bro. Both Party will be happy. Not Returning it is insane and very greedy and wrong move. Cuz Karma is a bitch buyer should be aware of that.
You say it yourself... Trust the numbers. Bought as seen/advertised. His skin now
Makes sense why he's $200,000 in debt. Dude definitely isn't too bright.
He was driving the seller
Why the f would he return it?
This is like crypto: your keys/wallet, your responsibilities. (Literally the more useful bored apes)
He even had more measures in place to save him from his own idiocy, yet he stil managed to screw up WHILE ENDAGERING OTHERS TEXTING WHILE DRIVING.
F him, lets hope that the buyer is a better person, at least he is more lucky.
Please let us remove the safety labels for a year and see who is left? I think we would be better off
You make a mistake or accident and you lost 40k. You know its an accident and buyer knows too. Now The Buyer laughs at you and blames at you that he made 40k out of your accident. How would you feel? Dont you fucking hate him and think he is too greedy??
fair compensation would be around 8k in usd i feel, 4k of his own money back and 4k for beeing so kind to return the ak. Or maybe a little bit more compensation since its pretty expensive skin but Keeping it BRO NO. Karma will get him son.
0:28 I'm using extension..so, no.. I won't
At least he will now read the fucking message confermation
twice
2:17 even tho the guy made a typo the buyer still bought and got the trade confirmed fair and square. in my opinion yes, he gets to keep the skin. (kinda like a snooze ya loose situation)
The buyer has no obligation to return the item whatsoever. 3 mistakes were made by the seller and his friend. If the buyer had a bit of empathy, he would offer to auction the item and split the profits, but again, that would just be a "nice gesture", but the fact a $600 offer was made is pathetic on the sellers part.
That Stephen A Smith gif is savage lmao
what is the differnece between csgo and cs2?
plot twist: the buyer is his alt and he did it for the drama
but yea, double check, triple check, quadruple fucking check your stuff if you're selling
in the US its called false enrichment and typically in a court you are expected to mend the mistake (context is heavily relied on)
I feel bad for penguin scarf man, it could be his pfp looking cute but I don't think your life should be ruined because of a single mistake.
the pfp is helping him a bunch, it would be honorable to return the skin but I can't blame that guy for not returning it either
The life isn’t ruined from the sale mistake. It’s the multiple I hope mistakes that add the 200 grand in debt
how is his life ruined. Actually if he does this in other aspects of life then yeah I can understand but then it would be truly earned. Or if is CS2 community rep your life like a paid middle man or a trader then that would be understandable, but of course if a known middle man makes a mistake like this then yeah career should be over
OmG hE hAs a CuTe PfP. Idiot, he can be a fat weeb groomer with cute pfp. I will never understand this logic.
damn i wish he also get a ticket for driving with his phone in hand
does this set a norm then for every transaction. so if someone gets a butterfly ( or any other skin) for 0,5 USD on steam market they have to give it back because it was obviously the wrong price?
Modern day trolley problem
The seller is responsible for covering the full payment, As per their written contract. It's not the owners fault the seller made a mistake - it's on the seller to make up the deficit to the owner full stop.
Are people seriously fussing about fucking PIXELS?!?!? AND WHETHER THEY ARE WORTH $4,000 or $40,000?!?!?!?! 😵
most times this happens it gets automatically purchased by a "buy order" so the buyer often dosent even intentionally snipe somone, it just met the conditions to insa-buy
No this was on buff it doesn’t work like that. Who tf buying this on steam 💀
Lending a 40k$ skin to a guy on the internet and then telling him to sell it over the phone?
What could go wrong 🤡
if someone sold his buttefly for 0.3 cent no chance you get it back. shit happens...
Here's my view about all situation: So first of all the owner of the skin, where did he find the seller? If it was a random guy somewhere on the market, he could expect a risk of not only paying the commission for the trading service + the risk even of getting scammed, second point that seller, he himself said he was in dept and doing this service of being the intermediate of the trade, in your right mind, if you are in dept in large quantity would you take the risk to create more debts? I mean by the part of driving while using the phone, not only he could crash the car and pay the loan for it + of someone else if he hits another car, as well kill people for doing that which for sure will cost him even more, another thing, why he didnt double check or even forth times to make sure hes not making a mistake, and why dont he do that trade after he parks? Or even before driving? And theres the confirmation of the trade btw. After making the mistake instead of telling the owner he did that mistake and cover up, he indeed went to try to talk to the buyer about it, but seriously? Having 200k in debt, driving while using the phone, not checking the price and then to fix his own mistake pay 600$ of compensation? Oh the skin is around 40k, so whats that compensation %? Lower than 1%? Not forgetting to mention that this was made in Buff, a public marketplace, not a one to one trade. I feel sorry for the guy in debt but seriously, if you have problems with Money and such, why u still taking risks of creating more debts instead of avoiding all of them? And come on the community isnt helping at all about the situation, poiting out that hes Ukrainian and other bs. Its interesting how people made mistakes before of selling cheap knifes and such in a wrong price nobody is giving af but here well we know
Auto priced a phase 4 on buff for phase 1 or something and fulfilled, only lost a few hundy so wasn't too bad. I can see why he wanted to fulfill quickly though, probably thought sweet, it sold, need to fulfill before buyer cancels.
It's a bit of a moral dilemma and xeon did say not getting the skin back will ruin his life but it was bought fair and square
Always wondered why there is no additional confirmation on Steam Market or elsewhere, for example "you want to sell your skin for a price that is 90% lower than the average, are you sure?" or something like that
@@Rudy97 In this case, yes, but knives sold in the steam market for $0.03 are not very good (for the seller, of course).
i fail to understand how anyone could blame the buyer here. theyre probably the only person here who did nothing wrong. entrusting your 40k$ skin to someone whos massively in debt was probably not the best choice by the owner and confirming the wrong price twice is ofc the biggest blunder here. the buyer bought the skin fair and square, sure it would be nice of them to give it back but there is absolutely no obligation whatsoever to do so.
Did the buyer really post that gif? 😂
I had an usps Stainless with a dignitas holo 14 on it and used it to gamble in csgolounge, at the time it was worth something like 4$....The regret.
The nice and polite thing to do would be to return it.
But he no obligation to do this at all if he doesn't want to.
And its funny to see talk about "being poor" when they have inventories (and even single items) that are worth houses in certain parts of the world.
I would like to think I would return it, maybe for a small correction fee, but when I suddenly get dropped 40k into your lap, who knows what I would do.
Doing the right thing feels better then getting a good deal.
I don't know anything about the Ukrainian who bought it, but if you're in a rough spot because of the war- 35.000 USD would feel better.
@@AbrahamSuperman these scummy ukis have been scamming and stealing enough csgo items how much more do they need, especially when theyre not being bomb while playing some cs, theyre ina better place now.
you know how much 35k usd is in countries like ukraine? even tho he purchased it legally he should give it back to some chinsese millionaire for some respect from randoms on the internet lmao
Hey Heyzeus, have you seen the Chinese gaming crackdown and how they are prohibiting selling and auctioning of virtual items at unreasonable prices?
This could completely crash the Chinese market if it's as bad as it sounds, you should really make a video on it.
anomaly made a video and apparently during stream he and anomaly talked about how he would be willing to give the skin back but the compensation they are suggesting is pretty cheap, i still think its the right thing to do but at the same time if hes going so far to lose so much profit and be the nice guy should be compensated properly.
Best part is I sell a ton of skins to arkasha, really nice guy. Hope the best to the seller, but bro has tons of money in skins he will be fine.
It's no longer his skin, and that's the thing. If the guy who bought it does return it, then he would be doing something really nice, but... if he doesn't, that does not mean he is doing something wrong. He wouldn't be doing something really nice, which is different.
Deserved double check what price your selling at lmao especially cuz it’s buff, they have so many confirmations
Of course he should give back item to seller, (yesterday I bought one #1 high float skin for default price) XD.
If you're gonna trade in big boy bucks you gotta have big boy smarts. Buyer has no reason to return the item if they do not wish to.
Yup. Sadly i have done this. It wasnt a ton of money but enough to learn a lesson. Go look at the MW usp orion. The last one that sold for about 1.48 usd was me. Meant to put a usp torque up for sale and whoops 😂.
Man needs to think about his debts and skin addiction first before borrowing other skins and selling them for ten times lower.
Compassion has no place in business. Business is business. It was listed and sold fair and square. Nothing to see here.
Having a 50k inventory and being in the position to borrow 100k from family does not make you poor, it reeks of dishonesty. I have an above average job in a western developed country and this guy has more in skins than I have in savings.
Having said that, preying on errors or stupidity to get items much less than market worth is just a notch above stealing, items should be returned with a handling fee, in this case I would put it as high as the purchase fee.
Old vid, but I feel like the buyer should keep the item. But the middle man should comp the original owner. Even though the middleman can't afford it, it was his mistake.
Arkasha should give it back
He should also get charged for being on the phone while driving
Yes
1. Don't let your friends sell skins for you
2. Don't drive while listing skins
3. Maybe offer more than just 600$ as compensation? Thats so low that it's honestly kinda insulting
Ofc giving/selling the skin back would be nice of him but in my opinion it's completely up to him and how ever he decides is the right decision
If it was me id sell it back at a 5-10% discount and take the 32-34k profit.
If seller wouldn't take that offer then sell at market value to anyone for 36k profit.
Buyer did nothing wrong and has no obligation to return. Selling back at a discount would be the nice thing to do.
You really have to confirm it to sell it, not once, but twice.
For a big priced skin, wouldn't you like look at it.... carefully?????
why wouldnt u triple check when its not even ur skin i always check so many times the numbers even if its a 100$ skin when i list and the guy still had to have 5000$ in buff to buy it so its fair snipe
It was just a stunt. that gun wasnt worth anything near that price
"i borrowed the skin from a friend and need it back"
why did he sell it in the first place then?
W arkasha
I got Vac banned for nothing. Lag spike and unexpected kills, friend said i looked fishy then next day vac ban, i appeal and instantly gone. rip game
The Ukrainian guy should now sold him back, but with 10% of discount, so for 40000$ xd
when a normal guy fuck up the numbers no one cares so same goes for high values guys...
He keeps the skin and you live with your mistake!
Sold is sold, he double confirmed so it's on him.. Sucks but ye, that's life😅
L friend L seller L brain
im actually more baffled that he was driving while doing something like trading skins. seems that guy values neither his own life nor that of others too high.
Sellers mistake , Buyers discretion
Yust sell your iteams in your curency
PLOT TWIST Arkasha gets vac banned a couple days later on CS, given an already existing one lol
I've talked to the buyer, he wont be giving back the skin, which I personally understand. He found a good deal, why should he be punished for it?
it's 100% his fault and trader shouldn't feel obligated to give it back.
Seems like the comments here have absolutely no debate about what the buyer does or doesn't need to do. He bought it fair and square, the seller has no argument...as literally every comment here has said
I wouldnt give it back, i would be regarded if i did
Moni, sellers fault
No need to give it back. Guy made multiple mistakes and that's his own fault.
unpolular opinion: if you are stupid enough to drive and do transactions on your phone, this mistake is probably not as severe as what could've happened if he were to crash. I don't feel bad for 1 bit
I was super happy that I sold my butterfly ultra violet FT for 140 eur I made profit on it. Now I am just depressed
Why would you even put someone else to sell it it's not like it's insta bought for these high prices just wait for the two week trade ban. At least the original owner does not say that the guy should give the gun back and that it's his friends fault which I mostly agree. And 600 dollars for a 40000 dollars mistake he should at least ask what would be a starting compensation price and negotiate from there instead of offering 600 dollars when that item is not just the price but the swag of owning it as well telling him to give up something unique for a mere 600 compensation(of course +what he already paid for it).
Bad luck, im sorry but im in the "buyer keeps the item" side.
I double check my 0.30cent transactions, i'm sorry if you're so naive.
the buyer is entitled to keep the gun. xeon should fully compensate every penny the skin was worth to the original owner. its his mistake. so he should fix it
why sell it back. the sellers already in debt. how are they suppose to buy it back? 600 dollar compensation on a 4k sale. it sucks to suck DOUBLE no TRIPLE check your sell price on everything
Funny people think Arkansa is from Ukraine, when, in fact, he is from Czech Republic lol. (90% sure he aint giving it back)
They dude bought for listed price, it's his. Whoever posted is at fault and I laugh at them! 😂😂
I cant comprehend how people doing transactions with this amount of money dont double check everything they do
They get used to large numbers and stop being careful
Which would explain why he is in debt.
Not his skin.
I check like 5 times just for a hundred lol
ikr. even if 9/10 transactions goes smoothly it only takes 1 fuckup to lose alot of money smh
