this album is about finding love and happiness in the midst of all the noise. this is one of the songs addressing the "noise" but as you go through the album you will find there are more songs about love than angst/revenge.
The car crash is a refrence to katy perrys career to her too. Its also a diss to kim Kardashian. Thats why reputation is iconic. It was a shift to her not caring about what ppl think and moving on. My favorite album aleays!!! And i was a diehard for 1989.
Can’t forget kayne Jabs through out the whole thing. He had a tilted stage and she was upset cause he called her a bitch in his song then the iconic mtv music awards moment when he jumped on stage lol
You should check one of the videos that explains all the easter eggs that are hidden in the video because if you do that you will be blown away how much there is hidden things in that video. One could probably write whole book about it.
This!! 🎯🎯 React to the live Reputation Tour of Ready for it with the Intro! You don’t have to worry about it being banned or whatever. Also, I Did Something Bad from the Reputation Tour Live!!
This song hits SO MUCH HARDER when it's live. If you check out the Eras Tour version, the production is fuller (edit:more full?idk) and really showcases how she tweaks stuff between studio and tour😊
I do think Look what you made me do works really well when she sings it live on the Reputation Stadium tour. More theatre vibes? It’s a whole specticle. I very much appreciate the sound and song on a greater scale in that live scene. With that said, I do like the recorded album version as well. Taylor live is just always something else, since she changes it up. There is live music, with instruments, and just a song made for the stage, really.
Also as a swiftie since her Debut album I agree it’s not my favorite song on the album”Reputation”- I feel that it is more of a statement song for the album🖤
It's not my favorite song from the album either but the music video is one of my favorites from her. Even more after learning all the easter eggs that there are hidden in there. But I'm succer for those lol.
The fact that this song debuted at #77 and jumped to #1 in its 2nd week says a lot. It even broke the 16 week #1 streak of Despacito, getting 2x the Hot 100 points than Despacito had to snatch that #1 spot. Taylor shook social media with this track. She broke the VEVO 24 record back then with 19M+ views in 1 day, too.
Hey! I would love to see your reaction to the other songs from the latest album of Blind Channel, Exit Emotions. One last time again is my favorite song and Red tail lights is also a banger 🔥
The video/song was kinda like a reference of Kim’s robbery that happened in Paris I think ? And other things I’m like a on &off fan of Taylor’s I don’t know much but that yeah. Swifties explain more ….lol 😂
I personally like this song a lot but, I also like some of her other songs as well. And everyone is entitled to their own taste. No one should ding you for just not liking this as much as other songs. I do think one reason why I like this one is that it is a shot at Kanye West and Kim Kardashian who set Taylor up for a total turn against her by the public, the media and others. About the only people who stood with her were her Swifties. It was a brutal set up. something I encourage you to google and read about. It almost destroyed her and her career. This is where the snakes in the video come from. Kanye has been after Taylor for years trying to hurt her. I personally think it is because he has a thing for her and knows she would never be with him. almost like a grade school boy who likes a girl so. he teases her terribly. I do think the whole under estimating Taylor and her music and people sorta think it cool to sneer is that Taylor began being a popular star when she was still in high school. And while she is a grown woman around 30 now people still think of her as that teenager and her innocent songs.
@@SeanStaxxMusic From what I read this was a brutal take down of this artist. I don't know if it was meant to destroy her but, it almost did. She disappeared for a year, left the country and lived in a rented house almost never going out in public. Reading about is what made me want to check out some of her music. I felt so bad for this woman. She was so alone at the time except for her family and her fans
Also, I saw you only listened to two Led Zeppelin songs 2 years ago. You really need to listen to a few more to get a better idea of the band. They are very diverse and surprising. If you do 1979 Kashmir, Do the video of Whole Lotta Love then the live of Since I've Been Loving you and then maybe do Stairway to Heaven. The guitar is heard because Jimmy Page is the best guitarist of all time. He is up there with the giants like Clapton. A Goat. The band are Goats. Robert Plant is tied with Freddie Mercury as the best singer of the modern era. John Paul Jones is a versatile player of keys, mandolin, bass, ect. and a genius with music. John Bonham is considered to be the best drummer since Gene Kruppa and Buddy Rich of the Big Band era. he single handed changed the role of drumming in modern music and is seen as the greatest. Led Zeppelin is not just some whatever rock band. They are far above any musically. And most bands that came after them were influenced and tried to be like them only they did not understand the depth of the band.
I think this song is just not meant for being a good song it’s more of a statement, I agree with it too, it’s not addictive because it’s repetitive but it makes sense with the music video which is the most important in this case

The video is actually genius. So many easter eggs in it. I could watch it the whole day.

Tilted stage = Kanye
Bathtub and lies = Kardashian
Crash = Katy Perry
Cat burglary = streaming services.
And much more.

This video is Taylor’s most filled Easter egg video. She said herself it will be YEARS before we will find them all.

I'm loving your Taylor journey - especially going through the Reputation Album. Would love to see you go through 1989 (Taylor's Version) next.

I knew there was some issues with her and Kanye but I didn’t know it was that deep! That’s sad and unprofessional of Kanye/Kim
