I just finished visiting "Old Friends Farm" on my birthday for the 3rd time 11/11/...Met up with Michael Blowen and took pictures/videos of all the greats, such as Silver Charm, Alphabet Soup, to name just a couple. If anyone has the opportunity to visit this magnificent and beautiful farm please do !!! You'll be glad you did !!!
He is certainly a wonderful person to have identified a need and then done something about it😬😍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻Hope Covid lets them open the farm to tours again so there is some much needed income and the horses get lots of carrots 😬
Love watching the videos of the Old Friends residents! I do a favorite and that is Silver Charm! Someday I will go and visit the beautiful horses at Old Friends!

So glad Michael was able to match Sun King and Special Ring after Pops passed hoping farms are open to and attracting visitors now will donate more when possible purchased calendar and LSC’s picture book 😬love it when Gary Stevens credited Chris McCarron’s strategy for Silver Charm’s Belmont defeat delaying direct challenge knowing that SC was a fighter having ridden him previously ( you tube interview)
Oh, lovely video! Sun King was one of my favorites; he always showed up and tried his best. I saw his daddy, and then a few years later, him, run at Belmont; glad Charismatic had a little bit of retirement at the end and wonderful to see Sun King enjoying his own retirement.
