Historically speaking Bitcoin doesnt do much immediately after the halving - but it does do impressive spikes and tops out around 18 or so months afterwards. No one can time the market, but I'd say it's worth considering entering a position at current prices and if further dips occur, just add to your position. Over the long run, there is a higher probability to the upside than the downside, .It's not about guessing the market's next move; it's about playing it smart and steady during trading...managed to grow a nest egg of around 2.4Bitcoin to a decent 18Bitcoin in the space of a few months... The real Trojan Horse is the 1MM BTC that Satoshi holds that can liquidate a chunk of the market and destroy confidence and hold hostage the value of the rest. I'm betting the Satoshi group waits for BTC to hit at least 30 Trillion valuation and pairs the first large sell off at a financially opportune time near that valuation. Rapid liquidation and possible discounted buy back for power, wealth, destabilization or switch to CBDC.

If you look at the way the Zimbabwean economy went from printing paper money to digital money, as in more zeros in the bank, its basically an exaggerated version of where America is heading if Americans don't say a resounding no to CBDC's. And by way Zimbabwe went from a 20% per annum inflation to a 76 trillion % inflation in just a few years. This is basically, 1. The government looting the system and decades of peoples hard earned and hard taxed savings. And 2. The governments way of creating a kind of communist control over every citizen, where fear will govern you, that you'll know, if you don't agree with them they can just turn your money off. ... and the Internet was created by the US Miltary (DARPA), and it's been a boon for freedom of speech, cryptography, freedom. Even if the NSA created BTC, I don't think they can kill it as an alternative to CBDCs, unless they can crack the encryption with quantum computing or some other mechanism ... they made it too well. BTC is good for the people, even if the central banks try to paper it over, subvert it with side chains, or keep the block size capped increasing transaction fees.

I imagine the story from the banks would be something like "we are out of cash but we expect a shipment in shortly. In plain English nobody has "money", they have digits (even if you consider the worthless Federal Reserve Notes to be "cash")

The main reason for my thinking this is the point where she said there is no difference between crypto and a CBDC. If someone says that, then it means they dont actually understand crypto, or more specifically, BTC/BCH.

I have read the NSA whitepaper on electronic cash which Lynette referenced. It uses a centralized banking model and discusses the use of "Blind RSA signatures" in order to make transactions UNTRACEABLE. This is not Bitcoin. The document Never makes 1 single reference to the SHA256 encryption methods, Proof of Work, block rewards, total supply, or even any concept of mining. Satoshi solved every problem the NSA could not. Let's do some homework before having speculative opinions

It's quite apparent that bitcoin was manufactured to help divert the fallout reaction in waves. If too many ran into gold, the price the central banks and the in the know would face to pay would be multiples of its current price. This was carefully crafted.
I guess they crafted it a little too well then… because if they did craft it, then they have now lost total control of it and it is effectively on its way to destroying the dollar.
If or when we ever get hit with an EMP (or a direct hit from a solar mass ejection), HOW will all these people get their “digital” currency (when the grid is completely toast)??? In the software business, we call this “vaporware”. In BTC’s case it’s “vapor currency”!

An EMP would do nothing to stop bitcoin. There are thousands of copies of the blockchain all over the world stored in faraday cages. If the internet went down, globally, bitcoin would be back up and running much quicker than your bank or your atm machine.
