I know that the conquest stuff isn’t as popular as your AoS stuff, but please keep making it. I really enjoy the concept of the game and your vids are inspiring me to try and start a local league for it.
I recently purchased a "City States Aristarch" figure. The detail is incredible. No miss molded parts. Very, very little flash. I hope they keep up the great work.
Ooooh I’m so jelly you’ve got them already! They look amazing. I’ve been impressed with the resin so far. Might want to warn people about how challenging the Abomination legs can be :)
I have picked up a couple resin pieces (the Imperial Officer and the Chapter Mage) and there is literally zero problems with either. I was one of those lucky people that never had a problem with a Finecast miniature, but these are at a whole different level than anything I've ever seen.
Their resin is amazing. I was originally put off because I was expecting the same or worse than finecast, which I absolutely hated, but was beyond surprised. I will definitely be getting many of their resin figures.
Hi Doug Today's the day when I reach full defenses against covid due to vaccination, so I'll finally be able to go out a bit more after being locked down since March 2020. I just wanted to write these lines to thank you for your videos. Not only are they an excellent source of knowledge on AOS (and now Conquest :O ), but seeing someone who is always positive really helps me keep things together :) So, once again, thanks, and keep up the good work!!
Sea of thieves background at the end there great vid been really getting into this conquest like the style alot gives me like lotr and GOT mixed with like maybe dark souls kinda vibes
I design my own on Eldritch Foundry and get them printed by my regular guy on Etsy. They are generally excellent quality and I use them in AoS (I don't play competitively so be careful if you do). I created my own warscroll using the link Doug provided in one of his videos a while back for my own unit of Elven Gladestalkers and the unit is great.
It was very hard for me to understand resin models. Since I had just believed that the figure was just made of a different color of plastic I tried plastic glue for a few hours. Next was that my box of nords starter box had the jarl just in a plastic bag rocking around which made me scared that it was broken plus I didn’t get a card for that jarl.
Been hearing some unhappy things from those that had bought in earlier. Rising prices, constant changes to the rules making physical items worthless (Rulebook and army cards, mainly) Been looking into this game, really like the lore, almost all the factions (I've had enough of vikings) and really dont want to get into a game that's still in 'beta' I've I've heard some say. Also, as of right now, the best deal is the 2 player box on their site, with the others being almost GW bad in pricing (hundred bucks for three guys). Granted, I give them a bit more slack, as the minis are much larger with trays, cards, ETC, but that's still getting a bit much. I was looking at the Raptor Riders and it's a bit disheartening to see six riders be almost the same price as dozens of minis and components. Haven't seen much information on the site or other youtubers going over their upcoming releases or pricing structures, and given that your page is the one I found this game on in the fist place I thought I would ask your opinion on this, or if you know of anything upcoming (new player boxes, sales, ETC) that may help my decision. Also, doesn't help that often I prefer smaller, elite armies and undead, and it looks like their version of this isn't out until next year. Do they do something like pre-order/launch specials?
It's wild to me that Games Workshop/Forge World's garbage has ruined the reputation of resin models as a whole. They've done the worst job with resin of any company I've seen, and every other company that uses resin is harmed by their crap.

Hey mate, as someone who has done exactly what you are thinking, just go ahead and do it. It's so much fun!
Do it!

I liked the Parabellum resin model that was in my kit for the Dwegom. Very easy to build and the plastic was very solid.

Where did you get the unit that holds everything together the “clippy hands”
👍🏻

Love the lore bits you’ve been sharing, but having to use superglue means I’m out. I refuse to use Satan’s Literal Seed.
What kind of super glue were you using?
I don't have any problems using the brush on glue from Gorilla Glue. Especially for these models.
