    Your vlogs and blogs are such a breath of fresh, frank air! I also work from home and my husband needs extra caring some of the time, so you'd be amazed at how often your day is totally relate-able. Looking forward to hearing about how other mothers manage their work/home/life balance.

    It’s so nice to see you Ruth. Always enjoy the fact that you are so real, genuine, warm and down to earth. When I look at you with two young children, a big new house to get all set up, along with you professional work, even I can feel overwhelmed, but you seem to have this ability to just get on with it, which I admire so much. And all the while, you inject your fantastic sense of humour into whatever life throws at you. Thanks so very much for giving us this window into your life-it’s a gift.❤️😀👍🇨🇦💋🌎

    Regarding decorating your home all at once and just getting it done, or taking your time... it really depends on the overall look you're after. Personally I would choose to take my time and deal with my current things that might not "fit the feeling I'm after" until I actually find what I'm after. My home might not be ready to be in a magazine immediately, but I'd rather work on curating amazing pieces than have a house full of quick and temporary, cookie-cutter pieces. However, if you have the budget and desire for a quick and fabulous fix, a decorator can curate amazing pieces in which the non-decorating public doesn't necessarily have access. Pick and choose a few key rooms or go all out and have them do the entire house! You can have as much input or as little as you desire. So many choices... and so much fun! I hope you'll enjoy the process, regardless which direction you choose to go.

    Hi Ruth if you haven't already dealt with the shower gel mess, try getting your friendly local plumber/heating engineer to come to your house with a Vax (wet/dry hoover thingie) You can also just hire a vax from a plumbing shop...good luck!

    If you wet the area where the shower gel got on the carpet and then use a white towel and a hot iron the hot iron on top of the white towel suck the green up into the white towel. No more stain just make sure use a white towel so you don't have any color transfer from the towel onto the floor.

    Sorry for your leak. I think it would be better if you stopped flooding the leak with water and blot it a lot esp with microfiber towels would be best. You could use the weight of the basket or other to weight it down. You could check with rug manufacturer and or who sold you the rug to find out what best to use to clean it. I’m sure you’d find something on Amazon, the main thing is to dry it up. A dryer of some kind or fan will help dry it out.
    So sorry for the loss of your friend, I just went thru same. Always hard. So sorry my love, Mr. Bear isn’t well. What seems to be the problem. Will pray for him and you all.

    Yes I would love this kind of video (chat with working mums) I am just starting up my own business so any tips on how to juggle family and kids will be great... I know I must be silly, two under two and business.... But I miss the part of me that was bringing money into the family and doing something beyond being a mum. Is that silly to say?

    • @princesscharlott1983
      @princesscharlott1983 6 років тому

      Alice Wilson don’t think that’s silly at all... even though raising kids is a job, you somehow feel like you’re - as you say - no fully contributing? I understand tht.. then I remind myself, put a cost on all the work we do..! Soon adds up! But yes, to get back to work and bring some bacon, it’s such a fulfilling feeling! - even if it’s just to bloody cover nursery costs or bills!

      I think I am in the minority and I do not miss going to work everyday. I love staying home with our kids, it is such a blessing. And to be honest, if I was working outside the home, most of my paycheck would go towards day care or a nanny. I know women who are staying home (because of the high cost of child care) but they don't want to and others who are working and would give anything to be a stay at home mom.

I am unlikely to make money to start with anyway but if it makes some by 2020 I might be able to work from home rather than go back to my job (my employer has to keep my job for me until june 2020)
