People dont want KJ because they like him, people want KJ because he's an admin character. if atomic, tataumaki, or any other character was admin, people would want them and the same hype would surround them. It's not the character, it's the fact it's not playable. if KJ was playable he would just be any other character and people would complain about him being spammy and annoying just like they do any other character. KJ isn't even cool, his moves are boring and his Awakening is like Saitama. When he comes out and he's gone nobody will care because they all had a chance to play him. That's what happened with Gojo and it will happen again with KJ.

Yeah, that's how it works. When something is exclusive, it gains value. The owner knew what he was doing, he's just dealing with the consequences. KJ will be free for a time, everyone will have their fun then we will go back to normal, I hope.
the thing about gojo is that all of his moves are literally one shot, so it's boring to use him because you can't even die. with kj you can actually fairly fight people with the moveset (besides the ult) and make cool combos unlike gojo
so once kj is no longer free (after however long he'll be free for, its not permanent though) people will want kj even more after losing him

honestly I hate the fact that TSB keeps adding non OPM characters to its game. But aside from that fact, even at first glance I could tell that adding KJ was a bad idea, especially with how they locked him behind a TREMENDOUS pay wall (I don't want to play KJ), which obviously upset a large amount of the player base but they eventually got over it. The downfall really started (imo) when they announced that KJ would be free for a limited time for every award they won. Now, what was already a double edged sword, has become a Protective bee that is about to sting a mammal.
