i’m going to be a freshman at UT this fall as a psych major in premed! this video was super helpful and answered a TON of my questions. thank you both so much
Ashley, next year you will meet tons of friends in UT Austin. This year the pandemic isolated many students. It will be better next year, and even better after that.
Okay coming back to comment after watching the video lol.. first, I also applied to UW (for literally no reason, I knew I wasn't gonna go there lmao), second, I'm so excited to be coming to UT this fall! Love your vids :D
Yea I’m taking calc 2 but i think i might have to retake it because doesn’t ut only accept you to skip calc 1 and i took physics already in tenth grade!
I would look at the core curriculum for your school. That will give you an idea of what you will need that you aren't going in with if you took AP/dual. Now, your advisor should give you an outline for the classes you will be taking throughout the four years and it is sorta just a template. You will have to take a UGS (freshman course toight by a renowned professor) and some majors recommend certain UGS courses because they will fullfil a course requirement down the road. Your advisor should also notify you of this, although mine didn't haha. If you go into UT direct and go to your degree audit (which you may have to run one so I would look up a tutorial if so) you can see all the classes you will need for core and your degree. It is good to keep in mind classes that you will need as prequisites for later classes so you plan out your semesters well. That's my advice 🤘
Do you mind talking a bit more about roustabouts dance team and Dance in Action including how to get in. I just graduated high school and started a community college. I’m planning on transferring to UT Austin and was hoping I can also continue dancing.
