I love how this under 1000 subs channel has this long relaxed interviews with all the rockstars of the genre. Congrats on the amazing work.
Well you know what to do, share share share haha! ;)
Actually I am a little surprised that this Channel has so little subscribers with this high quality of interviews. I really hope a lot of more people will find this and subscribe.
@@WBEEF557 I hope so too 😅 it's only been around a few months and hard to get the word out there sometimes!
@@Cressup I think it's only a matter of time, the content is already there. Maybe you could add an outro saying "you can check these other interviews" or something.
Dave's face and smile remind me so much of some of the character expressions in Maniac Mansion and Zak Mckraken
Amazing interview! This guy along with Ron created my childhood 🥰
Another great interview about my current favourite game. I love how your talks feel relax, and dive into the depth of things, but without getting boring 👍
Now I’d still love to get an interview with one of the music composers Land, Bajakian or McConnell 😉
Really love the conversational nature of these interviews... I feel like I’m just hanging out watching you too chat!
I cant wait to know more news from maniac mansion, Ron said the director’s words were kinda ironic but we all know that one by one these games are being remastered and he wrote it big case letters on a tweet, lucasfilms director is the right man calling all these epic devs to action again coz even himself is a big fan like all of us. While Ron cant be leaking information Dave said he called him to talk over the mansion again. He also tweeted the new remastered version could have an additional character to play with and over 50 new solving puzzles, all this proves it is really in the making. A new collector’s edition box is being released until April so MM is being marketized again ❤
I would have loved to seen a My Name as Earl game by Dave Grossman. It is a show that I have always enjoyed a re-watch of. Probably wouldn't have played it even if I did buy it. I have not played most of the TellTale Games despite owning a most of them. Think Sam and Max Season One and Tales of Monkey Island are the only two I ever finished to completion.
1:04:20 I wanted him to say his costume was Guybrush Threepwood too!
Another great interview to another game design legend! What a pleasure is to listen to him!
Great interview (also the one with Ron); thanks for doing these and uploading. Some true insights in them.
Return to monkey Island needs a sequel about mire Island
His smile says it all.
I really wish I had a career path like any of the people you’ve interviewed. Such interesting lives and jobs!
Your videos are dope to chill to! Huge LucasArts fan!
Another excellent interview. Well done! Shame I missed the live feed.
Fantastic interview as always! 👏
Great interview - really well done!
Thanks guys, this was great! Feels like finding the secret all over again ;)
Love your interviews! You should have way more subs!
Working on it!
this channel is perfect for adventure lovers. keep up the great work
COOL!
RTMI spoilers
I really liked that chat that Elaine and Guybrush had walking up to the Monkey Head. A lot of people expected a verbal thrashing, including me, and it was nice to get a positive speech. I read it as a subversion of the videogame "you suck" speech. It makes you question why you would expect Elaine to mad at you after all. She knows who Guybrush is. Especially with the reveal at the end. If the world is an amusement park, why SHOULD your actions have stakes? Was there ever a trapped hermit, a food called Demon Pepper, or such a thing as a mop tree? Why should she be enraged if you're a bit rough with the theme park attractions?
Its not confirmed in game, but I do have the headcanon that Elaine knew what the secret was all along. But just telling Guybrush isn't the point, because its about the journey.
I loved to hear about the production of Tales. It was my first MI game, and firsts are special. I did kind of expect a Tales 2 back in the day, but as I've learned more about production, I've become confused as to why I even thought that.
A Skunkape remaster of TOMI would be a dream come true for me. Lift some of the technical restrictions, add better lighting, edit a few iffy lines, it would be great.
I would like Morgan to appear again. She's heavily refernced in RTMI, and it would be fun to see her again on her ghost adventures. I think she should grow a cool beard, like how Guybrush did in MI2. That's not metaphorical. Give her facial hair.
I'm fine if there's no more Monkey Island. RTMI feels like a good ending to me. If somebody has a good idea, it's fine.
I know those last two lines contradict each other. Put Morgan in the Elaine Spinoff I guess. The Elaine Spinoff another fake game the fans are making up though lol. A game starring the girls.
@piss piss piss piss piss piss piss piss piss piss so,I'm still confused, did guybrush really go on all these adventures or was it all in his head in an amusement park? You can do sequel in mire Island
Nice
Are you going to interview Tim Schafer?
If he says yes, yes!
Dave looks the same
👏👏🐒💀
Second ! Lol ! :D
