As far as I'm concerned, the '80s and the 90s were the best decades for me for hip hop. Far too many memories that are a bit hazy LOL it works here but most of the big ones will bring some recollection
@@DJFurio that’s crazy it was his first album. I guess he was good enough that all these guys would produce beats for him on his first album. Legendary🔥
Yes. Large Professor had already produced Halftime back in 92 and wanted to work with him again. Preemo loved that track and wanted to produce for him too.
You forgot 1 major one in 92 that was so nice it was sampled twice. Lafayette Afro Band saxaphone that was sampled in N2Deep's Back 2 the Hotel and Wrecks N Effect's Rumpshaker. But otherwise, awesone job and what a great video to just put on and let your mind groove to while having lunch. Thats what i just did. Thanks for bringing us back.
Black listing HER from the surface still couldn't keep us from da reaaal! It a reason why it's called "The Underground", so true HHoppers, young and elder, keep ya shovels and dig! *BBOIZ&GURLZ 4LYFE
Only because it the best known use of the sample. You will probably like this other video I made then if you like earlier versions of samples ua-cam.com/video/iDPFQU5Qdec/v-deo.html
WAIT, WHAT !!! No 1994 Pete Rock & CL Smooth " CHECK IT OUT " / YOUNG - HOLT UNLIMITED - " BUMPIN ON YOUNG STREET " ? Not even 1992 Eric B & Rakim "DON'T SWEAT THE TECHNIQUE" / YOUNG - HOLT UNLIMITED - "QUEEN OF THE NILE". My DJ you might want to revisit. Appreciate your post for Hip Hop.
@@DJFurio Yo! The video was covering a decade and to not mention one of those two releases had me scratching my head. I give mad props to you and the work you put in. Keep doing ya thang! ✌🏽
There is another UA-cam channel that had a list like yours & they play them in the same order 😂 I swear they stole your video. You posted 2 months before them
That’s quite possible. I’ve had people rip my entire videos before and post them as their own and thought I would never find out. Do you have a link to the other video?
So much east coast hip hop. Don't get me wrong, I love New York rap, but almost ALL of the tracks you use are from there. There is very little G-Funk, only cult ones. Where is the Dirty South? You should fill up your playlist, you're missing out on a lot.
How dare you include ice ice baby, it was NOT sampled, a totally different songs. The original version was do do do do do do di, ice ice baby was di di di di di di do...

The sheer quality of hip hop from the 90’s is incredible
👍

Mid late 80s and 90s HH
The golden era
4 elements... 1 culture
90s rap is the golden decade
Beautiful time to be alive. I graduated in 94 these songs are the soundtrack to my becoming a man.
The amount of fantastic and iconic beats produced by DJ Premier... GOAT
Definite amazing producer
90s hip hop..the Ultimate era🔥 So glad I grew up to all this music.🙏🏽🙏🏽
My favourite era for hip hop too
Dj premier is everywhere
I really love how you include the producer name. I had no idea Pete rock produced The world is yours. Blew my mind. You can’t unhear it!
Classic album. DJ Premier and Large Professor produced 3 each on that album too and Q-Tip did one.

He's the one singing the chorus
Gotta watch The Documentary on Nas “Life is Illmatic”. Crazy how “P.Rock” found the Sample.
90’s the dopest era for Hip Hop
You know I love my 90’s hip hop

Great track that’s been sampled a lot. I’ve done other 90s videos where I’m pretty sure I’ve shown those uses of it.
Main Source’s Lookin’ at the Front Door is one of my favorite tracks. Great song they sampled for it.
The fact that you found the EXACT spot Swahililand was sampled makes you Sir, a Student Of Hip Hop
Glad you like the video. Thanks
Now I have a few new tracks on my playlist. Thank you for this.
Thanks for watching. Lots more sample videos on my channel if you’re interested
90s will forever be my favourite hip hop period. I wish I could go back and experience it all for the first time again! Great video.
My favourite period too
I absolutely love this my man! The effort placed into this alone just shows your passion for the craft! You just won over a new subscriber! 🎉
That’s great to hear thanks. I’ve made lots more sample videos on my channel too.
Furio for the win 🏆 again.
From one of those people who listens to instrumentals and originals of my favorite Rap and R&B tracks, thanks 🤝
Good to hear you like it 👍
Facts!! I love instrumental hip hop!!!
Loving ur samples..,
This is my second donation 👌👌
👍👍👍
Yeah ! So good to hear all these samples !
Thanks for watching.
Another random detail is that David McCallum (from the sample of Next Episode) plays Ducky in the American TV-series NCIS.
Yeah it’s crazy. William Shatner and Leonard Nimoy from Star Trek have also made albums that have been sampled too.
93 was when I began my love for hip hop. Wu-Tang for ever!!!!
That David Porter jawn still hits puffy master of Jackin for beats
Couple of them joints you could've did a three 1 lol 😂 good 👍 job
Funk is the backbone of Hip Hop.
1994 & 1995 🔥🔥🔥. So many good Tracks were produced/released back then.
Definitely 🔥🔥🔥
90s era....🔥🔥🔥🔥! Hands down!

Very very good

DJ Furio passed a while ago unfortunately
Joe cocker - woman to woman was sampled also by ultramagnetic mc's called funky.
Love it
Thanks
E. V. A. was also sampled in Gameplan by Lord Finesse
Yeah it’s been sampled quite a lot of times over the years
Never knew about Big Pimpin'
Yeah a few people have said that
Always liked Missin Linx' flip on "M.I.A." way more than Dre's Cut.
Beautiful!
Glad you like it

As músicas passao em pedaços muito breves, ficando difícil avaliar principalmente as de origem dos samples
90’s was the best
Of course
How can you use Labree Siffree's "I Got The..." for Em and not the 1st part for Jay Z's "Streets Is Watchin"? Slipped on that one 😉

If you’ve followed my channel for some time, those you’ve listed have all been covered in other videos. Don’t like repeating things too much.

I’ve done several videos covering the entire 90’s though. Maybe 3 or 4 in total.
Imagine an album full of samples and you don’t blow up or make classics. You end up broke with a huge sampling bill. Yikes
That’s why there’s so many uncleared samples as people don’t want to pay to clear them.

This particular video is about the biggest tracks so that’s really why they’re not featured
East is all you need baby!
Exactly 92 93 94 could be all west coast.
