Love this! Dylan's go to recipe is always the crab dip.
Dylan, I was so amazed to see your "mom's" crab salad recipe, since I have been doing this basic salad for over 30 years. I have made this as an appetizer, side dish, main dish, and even baked it to make crab loaf. I use what I have in the kitchen, combo of mayo and sour cream, or just mayo, or mayo with ranch dressing; brown mustard or cocktail sauce; lemon juice or vinegar; celery; onions; and if I have it, a little chopped nuts. I have made stuffed tomato on a lettuce leaf topped with Parmesan cheese or used cherry tomatoes to make mini ones as appetizers. If you make a loaf, top it with mozzarella, or Parmesan for the last few minutes. So nice to see real recipes that I don't have to go to specialty shops to find ingredients for. thank you for sharing a family favorite.
