Sir my son has keen interest in the biotechnology field. His dream is to become a researcher from very yearly time. This year he has appeared JEE Advance. But unfortunately he got 97 marks and not been cleared for some number. Actually he was focusing on his twelfth exam and he has no coaching guidance, just studied at home by himself only. Now he want to drop and crack Jee Advance next year and want to do B Tech in biotechnology and biochemical. I have heard that it is very low package job profile. But he does't care about salary. Though he is teenage and doesn't know the value of money. So please tell me what should he do? Should he do biotech or go for CS or mechanical branch if gets from IIT?
