This video gave me the confidence that I needed to order the new esec uib board which was , delivered, in Canada, for 253.00 . E15 error code is gone after 4 years of intermittent alarm periods, followed by good operation for weeks or months, then back to the alarms. Thanks Hameed for this super professional information.
Hameed, I had to replace the the control assembly (part #19) on a Electrolux EW30ES65GSE Electric Range stove top. Any hints on how to get the long rubber gasket/seal that sits/seals between the black glass of the control assembly and the metal stove top trim (part #16) to attach/go back in place/etc so that there's a good seal between part #16 & part 19. Thanks!
Hello Sir, my stovetop works but the rest of the display panel is dark (cannot control oven or see any display on the clock panel)? A repair company replaced the “control board” but it didn’t fix anything. Now they say it cannot be repaired. Any advice?
I JUST fixed my stove today. It had not worked correctly in months. I feel I need to tell someone so if this should happen to you, you can learn from my mistakes. 1) The E15 error happened over a period of time. Initially it would beep and then go away, so quickly i would not even notice. Later it would happen, but could be cleared with a tap. Soon, it happened when a burner was off, but hot (HE). Then it happened nearlly all the time, but you could clear it by flipping a breaker or turning on the burner between "beeps". I could even sometimes run the burners with no display, that was tricky, but I've had the stove for a long time. It eventually went to E 15 and stayed like that and could not really clear. 2) Look for a video on how to take the oven apart. If it is this issue you will not need to remove the back panel, but you will need to remove the door and side panels. I used this one ua-cam.com/video/Vqu-eiVcF78/v-deo.html 3) The oven door is tricky. Remove the door and set it on it's side not on the hinge part. The hinge needs to remain at that angle or you won't be able to get it back on. 4) Lots of light and take you time when removing the screws. 5) The part (user interface card) cost about $245 not including shipping and taxes - I found it here: www.genuinereplacementparts.com/ 6) Make sure you raise the back of the oven first as high as it will go before sliding it out. Makes it super easy and you won't scratch your countertop. 7) Be gentle. I was afraid of stripping the threads (use square drivers if you have them) but some of the screw holes are plastic and can be over tighted easily. I called a couple of places and they basically said after so many years the company will not support the ovens and the parts are not found anymore, so I was stuck with either repairing it myself or getting a new unit. I really like the oven, it was kind of ahead of it's time. Thank you for this video, it allowed me the courage and the information to tackle this project.
Electrolux Range Model : EW30IS65JSD showing error code E15 with Beep sound .. Having Trouble in Turning ON. Any Advice to fix this error , I live in USA Kansas city.
hi , very ggod job ,thanks for help with your videos.one questions ,i hace an electrolux range with E15 error and E14 error but i dont have a schematic diagram . can you tell me where i could find?
Hello and thanks for posting your video , could a defective cooling fan cause a E 15 error with a EW30IS65JSA , how could I confirm if the fan need to be replace
You are very welcome. No I do not think so , cooking fan had nothing to do with e15 , cooling fan is for oven cavity to get rid of excessive heat , and e15 is communication problem between UIB and GHB User interface Generator Housing Board .
So now I would pull the unit out open the back and check my cooling fan which is installed at the centre top , it’s possible that oven goes over 350 and cooling fan does not get rid of heat and overheats the Top , I have never seen cooling fan causing this issue but it does not mean there is none , try to check the cooling fan , otherwise you need a tech to do proper diagnosis ✌️
Hi Hameed, great video thank you! I have had an intermittent E15 error code for the past 2 years that I have been able to clear with a power cycle. Recently though, I cannot clear it and would like to try to fix the UIB. Can you please provide the part number for model #EW30ES6CGS7? Is it easy to switch out the UIB? Thank you very much for your helpful an easy to understand videos!
316576432 yes it’s very easy to replace make sure to take 2 side panels off to make your job easier , also make sure that’s the problem, don’t just replace the part thinking it would fix the problem ✌️
@@hameedwafaAFG Wow, thank you for your speedy response. I agree, I would like to be sure that the UIB is the problem. However, all the companies I have called to come and fix the oven have said that there is no way to know without trying to replace the various boards systematically. I have looked in the service manual and it says to check specific pins on the UIB and relay boards, though I am not sure what this means. Many thanks again!
Great video! I am getting error E21, and it makes a noise like a fan when I turn on oven even in broil…. Do you know where can I check the error codes to know what board do I need to take out?
Tech data is located at the back of the unit , pull it out and follow the testing before you figure out which board to replace first . Very common problem is the User interface Board ✌️

Hello Hameed, I'm getting E15 intermittently. Also the burner control buttons aren't working at all. Would replacing the UIB fix both problems?
If it’s beeps randomly it would possibly take care of that problem but burner not working would be a different issue , what’s your model number?

The E15 only happen after 30 minutes after using the oven , if I only use the cook top I never get E15 .

Maybe your door is not closing and causing the heat to escape and overheat uib area and fault out e15
Just check in detail and the door is closing perfectly fine, I notice that the oven after it’s turn off it stays warm for a long time
