This has always been one of my favorite trails. It is within minutes of home and the scenery is great. The trail seams to change from year to year due to erosion. The lake has become lower each year over the past 3 or 4. Get there at dusk or dark and find all the salamanders! Use a flashlight to see their beady little eyes. Great fun for children of ALL ages.
@@thedirtlifesupreame Awesome. My lockers and compressor are sitting in their boxes yet. I dropped my 40 off with PRLC for a R2.8 conversion, ended up adding power steering as well. Then I figured I might as well add lockers since I have power steering. But I haven't had the vehicle back to put them in. I'm picking the rig up then driving up to SLC to visit a friend. Looks to be some fun trails around there that are more than just a fire road, but doesn't require a full on crawler. Thanks for the info and the video!
@@thedirtlifesupreame I chickened out on this trail. Not enough experience, and not enough gear if I got hung up. Plus, my power steering developed a leak. Poor crimp at a fitting. Would've been nice to have somebody with more knowledge along.
I don't think you'd make it through the start of it. There are lots of big boulders you have to crawl through. I barely got through on 33" tires and 2" lift.
boo hoo hoo bikers off trail. If you didnt know thats exactly where the single track tail for bikers drops down to the lake. Seems like everyone is a cop now a days huh
There is no single track over there, the area has been marked, there are signs, and logs placed in the way to keep morons like yourself out. Stay on the trail or get out of the sport, idiots like you are the ones who get areas shut down, and trails closed.
@@thedirtlifesupreame There is a trail there for Bikers only, next time don't be the idiot and do your research. Love the video but it's annoying when people think they know what they're talking about before actually looking into it.

I need to get up there and run it again. It was a great trail.
Love your 80
Also how long did this take you
That's some beautiful country. And some challenging tracks. Well done.
I'm going to be in this area in a few weeks with my 40. Doable without lockers?
yeah probably, just pick the right lines. I did it before my lockers were working in that 80 series

How would you rate the difficulty for this trail?
On X offroad rates it at a 6. Idk if that helps.
Can I do this in my stock 3rd gen 4Runner?

Is there snow on this trail in April?
Usually opens in Late May or June depending on snow.
Yes, there is still enough snow up there for them to keep the gate closed. Last year they opened the gate about the second week of May.
That’s a single track trail. They aren’t off trail.
@@Bankerguy I just got into riding a few years ago. I didn’t know this at the time. I now love single tracks
