I’m going to be playing a Latin bass line through the jazz standard Mambo Inn and you can follow along with the music on the bottom of the screen. I’m playing the line on Double Bass here, but this is a great one to play on Bass Guitar too! This is a classic bit of Latin Jazz, originally written by Mario Bauza. I take a few different approaches to the traditional tumbao bass line - going from keeping things very basic to kicking up the rhythmic variations. Hopefully some of these approaches will inspire you to try out some Latin bass lines! Check them out and let me know what you think!

Love this music ! I've been following your channel for a long time now, all the way from France. I find your videos amazing; always very informative and inspiring. I was wondering what software or settings you use to scroll through the music scores in your videos. By the way, this could be an interesting video topic to share, I think. In any case, I would be very interested in it."

Hey, thanks for following the videos, I'm so glad that you're enjoying them! I use online software called Noteflight to create the notation and then Final Cut to mix it into the video. That's a great idea to create a video about the process - I'll do that in the near future!
