After all the really negative press Lagoon got from Colin on the Parley Revival Channel, I really do hope that Lagoon has started paying more attention to build quality and strength overall. Storm damaged Cat or not, it was obvious that the original build standards of Parley were sub-standard. When the front-of-hull deck was ripped up, where the Code-Z is attached, and seeing how badly it had been built in the first place was another real shocker. Lagoon sold many of tis model, all ticking time bombs.
The best thing about Colin is he didn't want to do it but felt he needed to. I'm surprised those bulkheads were made from what they were being that them 450's are 450kish .
"After all the really negative press Lagoon got " Not just lagoon, but every major brand of cat builder I can think of has had terrible build quality/strength issues all well publicized. So disappointing, you are 100% correct on the ticking time bombs, at one time I would have put my family on one of these and sailed the pacific, not now! just not worth the risk. Custom built/aluminum is a genuine option to getting a boat built that wont delete you at around the same price per foot.

@@Leosarebetter I didn’t know this was a Cat-wide issue 🤔
built... as in... past tense... where is it?
It was built, like the company build it, but that happened in the past. Just the building process, not the boat.
