Great video Eli! I'm glad that you're still happy with the car! It's funny that I was talking with someone today at a car show here in Long Island about putting mileage on the car. As long as you're happy, regardless if you're adding miles to the car or not, that's all that matter. Dude, that whine from the supercharger always makes me smile hahaha! Looking forward to the new exhaust!
By the way @IgnitionTube your s4 is awseome keep building it for you!
Love this car man
Damn 10 weeks already, time flies lol
Bought my b8 in May. Got a revo 1+ pulley 93tune. Worth every dollar. Cai and straight piped, sounds crazy.
Nice video mang
Had mine for 4 years 40,000miles. Freaking love this car. Can't imagine letting it go
Kinda agree with you about the manual.
I've driven manual consistently for about nine years and recently went into an auto due to increased amount of traffic to work.
I just learned this summer that my buddy knows you lol I was like whatttt
Greddy exhaust
My oil pressure sensor went bad 1 week after I got my S4 as well. Got it fixed under CPO and been perfect ever since
i bought my s4 in June 2016 with 32, 000 miles on it, right now it has 66,000 miles, in short, i absolutely love it!!
Hey so I just recently got an Audi S5 B8.5. I had same problem with the EPC light every time I beat on in and a lot more often after I put my intake in. I finally just had the sensor replaced and it fixed the problem. Haven't seen it since. The dealer told me it's a very common problem with these and they were covered under warranty to a certain mileage. I paid $150 and just had the dealer replace it.
Love the videos man. I just picked up a b8.5 ibis white s4 the other week. Absolutely love it. Installing an xpipe in place of the center res and deleting the front resonators as well.
I think the awe touring sounds best on these cars with dsg. But I'm really not trying to spend that much on exhaust at the moment.
Maybe tint front fogs orange? For sure darken the tail lights 😎
I got the dsg too and I love it.my b5 is 6 speed so i can just drive that.I wouldn't buy the b8 stick just my preference.it shifts smooth and fast if you're buying one check out both before hand.👍
You do an oil change every 10,000 miles? compering to you my rs4 get royal treatment-every 3,000
My supercharged Mercedes has some similar gremlins, like the radio thing. I have the Bose sound system and 3 times now I'll get in my car and the radio has no sound at all, its on but no volume. I also get a random "SRS emergency restraint system malfunction" warning ⚠️ that tends to go away if i just turn the car off and on again
#GermanCarLife
Do have your s4 grill? i have b8.5 Audi A4 Quattro, with a 6 speed manual. And I'm looking for a stock s4 grill. And I'm interested and buying it. Love the video
Pleas do oil changes at 5000 mile intervals.
Man I almost had a change talking home a 2012 Audi S4 prestige. I called the car dealer and asked if I could test drive it and they said yes of course! Mind you it was a 2 hour drive there.(I'm crazy I know) Finally got to the dealer and asked about the Audi and guess WHAT?? "Oh yeah about that s4. We sold it already.." I took the biggest L of my life. I'm still not giving up. Hopefully I'll find another one soon.. btw great video!
Have blackstone analyze the oil!
Have you had any DSG issues? I recently purchased an s4 , love your s4 man!
How has your S4 been if you dont mind telling? Im considering an S4 B8.5 under 60k miles
I love my ultrasport B6 3.0 but if your an Audi VW owner your used to random issues popping up. Honestly, you have to love the cars in order to put up with them.
Damn, and I thought I was bad with my cars mileage. I've had my B9 A4 for about 6 weeks and only put about 2,000 miles on it...
There is a TSB for some of the 3.0L supercharged cars in which if the incorrect length oil filter is used ( Stupid ... yes .. but Audis do not like cheapo aftermarket filters ) it will cause the Oil pressure sensor to trigger sometimes . If youre going to do an oil change... ONLY USE Audi, Bosch or Mann oil filters in these cars .
I've heard that that may also be the issue, I only use Mann filters! :)
IgnitionTube good to hear ! I see a lot of people using fram filters and they start to collapse in on themselves after a while .
Love the car by the way. Keep up the good work !
Do the ecodes/clear side markers on the headlights and make it into a tutorial/walkthrough. Its a great aesthetic mod.
I'd just buy the euro headlights haha I don't want to take the headlights apart
Where can you buy? I have b8.5 S4 too and i'm way too scared to take the headlights apart.
Do Stage 2 for the next mod
shoutout to pittsburgh!!
Hey man, great video as always. I was just wondering if you could give your opinion on golf 5 gti with over 130k miles on clock. Do you think it is still worth the risk to get one?
Cue Well, I can't afford something more expensive at least for now. So i have two options going for something fun like gti and find the best deal for me or either get booring car which would be more reliabe. I'm will go with the fun way, pick stock car with good service history :) Thanks for your opinion and for reading my thoughts
Evan Narvais Well i'm planning to spend 5-6k euro on it. So i have seen different ones in that price range
Evan Narvais Now i own kinda fun car golf 4 gti 2.0 (everyone knows that not real gti). The advice you gave me would be pretty good but now i'm student so i can't imagine how i would manage to save up that much per month. So i'm basically searching for something what i could afford and of course have fun
start converting interior/exterior parts to carbon fibre man, makes it have more of a sport feel.
edit: also how often do you find yourself filling the tank?
Fill up a little more than once a week. No carbon for me on an already black interior haha
Actually I wasn't wondering why you do so many miles
8k in 10 weeks? Damn....
Bags please
Sup!!!!
sounds like hardware starting to go out if you have to keep resetting it
Ur changing oil at 10k no wonder your getting limp mode your engine burns small amount of oil which is common you need to change your oil at least 4K
I don't reckon it would make sense to keep a car like the S4 as a weekend car, it makes sense to keep it a daily, as you are!
Ur gonna hate the car when u run into dsg problems reason why i went 6mt
When is ECU tune coming?
The DSG definelty suits this car, it's not some two seater sports car it's a big luxury cruiser with a powerful motor, hence why it's your daily.
Your issues are just beginning..
Cue and oooh uve owned audis for 5 years.. tht really ain't long bud. What audis do you own now?
Cue I love his s4. Just saying these cars have slot of known issues. So I'm sure with your whole 5 years of experience you probably already know that. Lol
LOL Evan. This generation of S4 is known for it's reliability :) Keeping up with maintenance never hurts either. Have a nice day.
Hate to break it to u.. my a4 1.8t b6 quattro ultrasport will shred your car off the line to whoop whoop..
hate to break it to you but the v6 sounds amazing while the a4 sounds crappy
umpeeTV i know right stock vs tuned... tuned vs tuned...stage 2 ultrachaeger*... a4 ain't shit
Damn boy, 10 weeks & 8K miles... you are a boss. Enjoying the car and its awesome so BOOM! As with any car, there are minor issues so its cool. Looks like you are enjoying the car so that's all that counts!
Crushing miles!!!
