It's actually sterms from our Traditional Music. Most of SA music is influenced by traditional music. Even protests in SA are not complete without singing or chants. To be specific Zulu Wariors who even till this day still sing those War Chants in their traditional gathering and they sing or chant in one harmony. Our traditional music demands harmony and rhythm.
