I am at a crossroads in my life, and am now considering a move to Portugal, so your channel is very helpful. Many other channels are based further to the east, nearer Castelo Branco, where the land seems dryer and hotter. I do like the Coimbra area, as it is more hilly, cooler and not that far to the coast. It is definitely a lengthily hill learning to edit and it is a lot of work but it is also quite enjoyable and meditative so Im lucky to have found something to share that I enjoy. We were in the same position a few years ago and we just thought that we either did it or just wondered what would happened. So we just jumped into the deep end and never looked back. I personally find Coimbra a far better choice though it does come at a expense. Properties here are a bit more expensive. It is not only greener but much better located to cities, the sea and airport. It also has one of the best hospitals nearby and the healthcare system here is so far quite good. I see the appeal to CB but it is quite isolated and far from everything. It is also more prone to fires. Good luck in your journey and if you would like some info, feel free to drop us an email.

Ten turns on PTFE is too much 5 turns is normal you are doing a grand job all of you. Once used an olive should be discarded never use an second hand olive you are asking for trouble and of course leaks.

Unfortunately PTFE tape here is very thin so you do need to go a bit OTT with it
