The Gold Coast’s Hopo Ferry - What can you see & where can you go in one day?

- We ride there Gold Coast's Hopo Ferry for a day to explore everything from Marina Mirage, to Surfer's Paradise and everything in between. We started our day with free parking on the Spit, then walked to Marina Mirage to grab some breakfast and board the Hopo Ferry. Our first leg took us down to the Home of the Arts (HOTA) in Bundall where we took in the amazing immersive experience of Gaia. From HOTA it was back to the Broadwater Parklands for a quick explore and a stroll.
Once we had worked up our appetite we headed back down to Surfers Paradise to grab some lunch by the pool at Longboards. Utterly full and exhausted there was only one thing left to fit into the day. Love your vid which just popped up now! Nothing like exploring our own backyard. This Hopo Ferry is still in operation - was to be a 2 year trial. I found out about this ferry last week when deciding on my days travels from home on southside of Brisbane to visit friends staying at Surfers Paradise. Caught train and tram to Surfers. But will use the Hopo Ferry soon on my next trip.
