The dog story.... i see you in a whole new light. Most people don't care. This melts my heart. We have 4 now. One we found in a box at a rest stop in Oregon (we live in Idaho). I don't understand how people can be so cruel. And just to clarify, i liked you before LOL... it's just.... there's a special kind of person willing to take dogs in and give them love and care. Not a lot of people do. It's a special category of people. ❤❤

I did beagle rescue for about five years many years ago before I I had to quit because I got burnt out. I swear, people would give away their kids if they could! The incredibly poor excuses people gave for giving up their dogs, even their elderly dogs was disgusting. We now have two elderly cardigan corgis -- one is 18 and the other is 16, and you are not kidding about a lifetime commitment. But we love them so much, we can't imagine just dumping our furbabies! There should be a lot more vetting before people are allowed to own a pet.
I found my poochon mix a year and a half ago on the street. He was matted, covered in fleas, wore a collar way too large (and pink), and desperately needed a bath. He was absolutely terrified and exhausted. Almost got hit 5 times in the time I followed attempting to catch him.
Today, he is a spoiled, lazy boy who goes everywhere with me. I couldnt imagine he ran away, he always sits at our door if we accidentally shut him outside. It was a blessing in disguise because I had not planned for a dog. He is the best dog Ive ever had 100%. Rescue dogs are the most thankful.

I lost my beautiful dog Nina a month ago and although I still feel devastated, I want to give a shelter dog a chance to live a loving, fun life in a forever home. My partner and I are visiting a local shelter this coming Saturday.
Nina was very welcoming and friendly with other dogs so I know she would want another furry friend to have the same chance at happiness that she had.
I actually hate how some humans think it's acceptable to treat animals so badly. They are pure souls who just deserve companionship and love
I’ve been following for years and I rarely comment but I do have to say as a very overwhelmed employee of an animal shelter that’s wayyy over its capacity I thank you for being such a responsible owner and just human being. So many times I see people either minding their business and leaving the dog on the street or take it to an over capacity shelter. Thank you so much and I hope she finds a good home.
That has to be such a hard job to do in respect to seeing how many animals are there. Hats off to you.

That poor baby deserves so much more than what she was dealt. I’m so grateful you found her and that you’re such a great human being. All of you coming together to care for her makes me want to shed happy tears. To the disgusting human being who probably just dropped her on the side of the road I just wish a lifetime of tiny inconveniences. May everything they want in life slipped out of their reach by a hair. May the things they want always be sold out. May their alarm rings always 10 minutes earlier.
They could have stepped up, go to a shelter until one took her. They could ah e placed ads, reach out to specialized group (they literally are available on FB and IG, doesn’t take that much work to figure it out) that would have kept her safe. My heart breaks for her. Hopefully someone will give her an amazing home soon.
Love your positivity and intentionality in general but any time you talk about dogs and how you treat your own pets and other animals in need, it really reflects your world view and care for yourself, others, and our world. Thank you. ❤️🐶❤️

Me too! My parents and friends all call me the dog 🐶 whisperer. If there is a dog that is lost or has been abandoned somehow they always find their way to me or my house. It enrages me when pet owners are just so irresponsible and don’t care of their pets or they simply send them out on their own. Angie she looks so sweet 🥹 you will find her a great forever home! If I wasn’t in Washington I would take her in a heartbeat! Thank you for everything you do for animals ❤❤

Our dog was found abounded along the Delaware River. he showed up on our local Facebook page and I adopted him the day after the post. 9 years later and he’s still the best boi ever! He was skin and bones, too but ya can’t see a single bone in him now! He’s the second adopted dog we’ve had and I think we’ll always adopt. There are so many good doggos out there that need good homes. Adoption is always a good idea. So glad you found her and are taking good care of her! ❤

you and sam have the biggest hearts. i legit cried my eyes out hearing about the doggie. i don’t understand how and WHY people are abandoning so many dogs and other pets. i just adopted a dog this week, and she was so scared the first couple days. my baby passed away a couple months ago, and we decided to adopt/rescue a dog this time. we’re taking it day by day with baby jade because it’s clear that’s she’s been abused before, and it takes time for trust to form, and every day she gets better and better. i didn’t shop the sale because i was in the hospital pretty much the entire time, but it’s ok because all of my money is going towards jade’s needs. you look absolutely gorgeous!!! i reallllly love the way the palette looks and i’m into the color story, and i want to pick it up at some point. i’m definitely picking up the moira highlighter and a few of their other products during the black friday sale. the MUFE liners live up to the hype, and i love them. i definitely plan on picking up the skin tint, because i need a new one, and it looks gorgeous on you and steff (she reviewed the skin tint and blushes as well) and i trust both of you. 🥰🥰🥰

We found our dog Winnie like that over 10 years ago now - and I feel the same like she was very obviously someone's pet and had been abandoned as she was house trained and everything when we found her. Winnie is the sweetest thing and I would take in another in a heartbeat. It drives me crazy and honestly enrages me when people abandon dogs like this. I could never do that to a dog. Love that you're taking the time to make sure she finds a good place in the world. This is just another reason why I love your channel - similar values 🧡
You and your hubby (and your neighbors)are awesome for taking in abandoned animals. People are just awful sometimes. That's the reason I have 5 cats in my house. 😊

I'm so glad you were able to help that dog. She's a cutie. Our shelters in WV are also always full. The way some people treat their "pets" is absolutely awful. A lot of people here leave their dogs on chains outside. Many don't spay or neuter their animals, even though there are local programs to help people who can't afford it.
I have found two dogs in NYC... One we never found the original owners and my boss actually ended up adopting him and he is thriving ❤. The other we found the owners and it was such a relief and because she was so scared and once she saw her family she totally changed into a happy doggo again ❤

We adopted an intact male dachshund 14 yrars ago. He had ben picked up three tines by animal control and had obvi had a hard life so far. He was scarred up and so skinny. Animal control contactes an adoption agency to take him out if that county so the precious owner could not get him back. Their loss because he was such an amazing boy! Sadly we lost him this time last year. Now we have a 10 mo old doxie named Ava and she is currently chasing her tail. 😂
That was so nice of you and your neighbors to take the dog in. I would have done the same thing. My lab died of inoperable liposarcoma on 04/05. I miss her so. Love the look you created very pretty. I have 2 dogs and 3 cats. Love my fur babies, 1 dog and 1 cat are adopted. I cannot understand people neglecting their pets. I do know its hard to afford things right now but am happy to sacrifice outings etc to provide for my fur family always. ❤

Hey I know your in Texas and apparently there is a huuuge abandoned animal crisis in southern USA. I’m up north and even tho we also have problems with over run animal shelters we do not have it nearly as bad as down south. I actually rescued my dog from a rescue in Texas. The rescue is called let love live. They have the ability to “ship” (they drive them. Ship sounds bad haha) up to northern states where the demand is much more then down south. Maybe reaching out to a rescue like pet live live would be helpful.
Before this video I thought like «who on earth needs Huda’s variation of the Xenon palette», but after the video I’m like «okay, maybe it’s me, maybe I need this palette» 😂

I think the cream black shade is specifically for that worn in, creasey, late 90s/early 00s club look. So it’s more for editorial looks. I’m sure you could line with it and set it with another shade though. That’s what I’d do with it anyway.

I've been using the cream shade as a smoky liner since it spreads so easily and then you can pack the black shadow on top of it to get rid of the gloss look and it will stick better. Didn't think I'd like it but actually finding myself reaching for it quite a bit. Did use it all over the eye as the base for a smoky look and put darker shadow on top of it and it was pretty good but it did crease a bit over time...also that thing STAINS so be careful with it!

i live most time in spain and is terrible how many cats and dogs are abandoned, i am cat mom and always rescue and help cats i have two cat colonies who i neutered all of them and off course feed them. The poor dogs finished in that poor government shelters in bad condition 😢 so i can only say, THANK YOU THANK YOU AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELPING HER!!!! for not looking to another side! for being a kind human being and act as a heroe would do! helping!!!! ❤️
i am part time in florida Cape Coral and fortunately i do not cross any abandoned animal! Texas must be horrible with many cases like that😢.

It’s sad that there are so many abandoned dogs that shelters are full. I am in the San Antonio area, and shelters are full here, too. It’s like that in a lot of the U.S. I feel the same as you about it. How nice of you to care for that pup. ❤️

That is one thing I´m really grateful for, the shelters in Germany. It´s of course not perfect(no system ever is), but at least the lost pets are safe there.
I wish Huda Beauty had made an actual pressed version of the easy bake because it is such a good powder but can be messy since it's loose. The new one is not the same at all!

I honestly think it’s more of an eye gloss, for that really 90s grungy oil slick eye. That does crease, but it’s here for a good time, not a long time lol

Honestly I unfortunately lost a dog when I was younger, and she was never found. She had gotten out of the yard and ran away. It was devastating. I can only hope that someone did find her and was as awesome as you to help her.

I bought the berry color in the Revlon blush and returned it. It disappeared into my skin and I could not get it to build up at all. I had high hopes because the color was gorgeous....still on the hunt for another beautiful berry blush.
