3 DAYS IN OBX: Coasting With Corolla!

- We had the amazing opportunity to explore OBX with Toyota in Corolla, North Carolina with a Corolla hatchback! It was such a fun trip in such a beautiful place! We have been to North Carolina a few times, but this is our 1st time ever exploring the Outer Banks. It is so undeveloped and has incredible natural beauty. We were so confused when we first arrived in Norfolk Virginia to drive down to OBX. On the map it looks like it would be a quick drive over the line.... well it would if you're okay driving on the beach highway that connects Virginia & North Carolina! It's what makes the area so special! They have fought to keep it that way & the fact you can see Wild Horses makes it even more special 🐴 We highly recommend visiting OBX! Such a cool & unique place you can't find anywhere else in the country!

Toyota has been a big & special part of our trips the last few years. We are so grateful for the opportunity they've given us trying out their new vehicles on our trips & getting to show them off! It was so nice getting to see the familiar faces that started it all for us, and getting to meet the rest of the Toyota team & creators! We had so much fun & it went by way too fast! Incredible meals, conversations, & company!

I was just there with my husband April 26th-May 4th! We stayed at a beachfront rental on Lighthouse Drive in Corolla. Such beautiful views!

Love the Sanderling, we go a few times a year. Our favorite restaurant is across the street, the Paper Canoe to the left of Kimbles Kitchen. Why didn't Toyota give you a 4Runner or Landcruiser to drive in the sand? The best part of Corolla is the 4x4 beach. I was there last week, best thing ever to drive your vehicle out there and toss your stuff in the sand and hang out all day!.
Thanks so much for watching! We loved the Sanderling! It was a really nice resort! We hope to go back in the summer time in the future to explore some more when it's a little busier. This specific trip was Coasting Corolla in a Toyota Corolla. We almost tested it one the Corolla Cross, but decided against it.

What month did you go visit? Looks a little chilly, but really nice.
It was end of April. It was definitely kind of in between on weather. Getting warm but still had some chilly days, especially with the wind. It’s definitely beautiful though
