Good evening Sian, this is perfect timing for settling down for the night and listening to the calming music, scenery, listening and watching all your jobs around and about. A super video as always. Lovely to hear your calming voice again...even with your cold! Warm wishes for your speedy recovery very soon. Take care. ☺
What a lovely calm vlog. Love watching you in your garden and sewing. I’m a quilter so enjoy the sewing and making bags etc. Thank you for helping the Moons when they were away for a holiday. You, Rosalie and Melissa/Paul did an awesome job! Watching you from Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺🦘
I need to get out into the garden to do a bit of a tidy up now the flowers have all gone. Maybe once Christmas is over😉 Actually I've just had a go at quilting the other day, I made a cushion for the market. It should be in the next vlog. 🥰
Thank you for the update. It was interesting to see how you heat your home and the maintenance required for the wood burner. The old cellar was interesting. You seem to be set if there are electricity shortages. I was watching another vlog how food was kept fresh by burying in dirt and sand. There are many who are still living in off grid homes using the same systems. I hope you are feeling better soon. I hope you have a wonderful week and achieve everything you intended with ease and grace. Enjoy creating.
You really DVE IN to every chore! So great listening to your explanation of the heating system , past and present. I always learn something watching. you do random chores. Hope you keep warm and cozy! Love from Toronto, Canada
@@hiddenawayinfrance Just a light dusting. Not enough to cover the ground. Grandkids were excited this morning when the snow started, but late morning.........stopped. We're waiting to have enough snow to make a snowball!
The footage of the village at the beginning was, as always, beautifully filmed. I love the way you show us details that others would miss (the shelter iron work). Interesting to see your burner cleaning too. Oh, and I love that food cellar - how useful! 🙂
Hello Ann, I need to get stuck into garden work once Christmas is done. I'm in full sewing mode at the moment and my sewing room looks like a bomb has hit it😃🥰

Thank you, it's nice to know others appreciate what I see or they way I see things 🥰
Sian, you should do a few more vlogs even if they're shorter?
Thank you that was really interesting.
