    Love these little fcx's my son and I have the power wagons my only complaint is the loose gear mesh and that extra movement you get when coming down off something, other that that cool little rigs, sweet video brother 💯👍👍👍👍👍

      Hey, man! How's it going? I really liked the V1 of this but I saw it wasn't as robust with all plastic. Then this V2 hits the streets. I was about to make a move and stumbled across this one at FairRC. I think I finally just went to their site to see what they were all about. I went to UA-cam to find a video of it and see that someone in the next town over has one. I left a comment and he never got back. Seeing that thing run in snow and I was seconds away from clicking to purchase!
      I can see sinking a ton of money into these and having them perform far beyond their size. My honest opinion is that this has to be one of the best 18th scale brushed RTR there is on the market. The two-speed sets it apart. With a few mods this things takes it to the next level. So, I'm not sure I'll throw mush else at this and just run it. I agree on the gear backlash and I wonder if thick grease packed in various places would help tame some of that.

    Great stuff, as always.. new backgrounds look spectacular. FYI, the spare has a brass ring too.

      Thanks! Yeah, those backgrounds had to happen.
      Good to know. That's gotta be why I had to preload the back end so much. It's run almost all the way out to keep it from sagging. That and the hitch! If you notice, it's on in the first few clips and then it's not ;)

      @@VermontScaleCustomsI think it’s your 1st FMS..? There’s a screw on the front axle that you remove and insert from the rear. It limits your steering when the knuckle hits it.

    • @VermontScaleCustoms
      @VermontScaleCustoms 7 місяців тому +1

      Yep, two small scratches in the driver's side door! I should do a little more to this thing to finish it better. It's missing all the black color for window seals and trim around the side windows. I hesitate to hit it with matte clear because I don't want to ruin the iridescent look.

    Wow, nice addition to the fleet Mark! This truck looks awesome! How do you like it so far?

    • @VermontScaleCustoms
      @VermontScaleCustoms 7 місяців тому +1

      I think it might be the last rig I buy for a while. Satisfied that I just rounded out the fleet with a good one. Dare I say it's probably one of the best, if not THE best, RTR I've seen yet. The 2 speed sets it apart for capability and the looks are stellar. Glad I placed the order for a custom green one. I definitely recommend getting one.

    Is this what comes in combo A package?

    • @VermontScaleCustoms
      @VermontScaleCustoms 3 місяці тому +1

      This is Combo B. Combo A is the truck without all the brass add-ons.
      Combo B comes with brass high clearance links, brass steering linkage, etc.
      I suggest combo B but save yourself using the servo saver and just install a real servo horn.

    • @zedxrom7867
      @zedxrom7867 3 місяці тому +1

      @@VermontScaleCustoms would you recommend that over the A?

    • @VermontScaleCustoms
      @VermontScaleCustoms 3 місяці тому +1

      It's a few bucks extra but it gets you some decent add-on parts. Just be careful and be sure to have the right hex. This hardware is a pain. Option comes with all the stuff but you have to install it. Kinda weird but I do recommend it, it helps performance a lot in my opinion.

      @@VermontScaleCustoms Appreciate it, I've been contemplating getting LC80 from fms for a while, but this mod sealed the deal, ordered option B. Stoked.

      Congratulations! One of the first things that blew me away is how good it is in first gear. The low speed control for a brushed motor is unmatched, in my opinion. Have fun and I look forward to hearing back on what you think. Like I mentioned, be sure to have a good tool set to use. I think I may have even used a T6 on some of those hexes. Just be careful and you'll be very happy with the results.✌️
