Beautiful Paris Walks: The Ile Saint Louis

Join me for a walk along the Ile Saint-Louis - an island in the Seine. As far as I'm concerned, this is the most beautiful walk in Paris.

This video was great fun and took us past some familiar spots. The last time we were in Paris we stayed at Jeu de Paume, made friends with the dog, etc. We liked it so much we're staying there again this October. And I just signed us up for the Quartier Latin walking tour.

So great to stroll past many of my Paris favorites: Le St Regis, Bertillon, L'Eglise St. Louis en L'Île. And this past Christmas, I rented the apartment directly above Les Fous de L'Île. My apartment smelled of roasted chicken every morning, and my dinner there was amazing. Merci, Oliver.

Loved the commentary, loved the footage - was disconcerted and a bit disappointed that the commentary didn’t match the vision. It seems that these were recorded some time apart ie commentary talked about not quite autumn and falling leaves and Paris plage yet the footage looked to be a sunny winters day
