I'm trying to do this for a Canva website design.... but it only drifts for a couple of seconds then bounces back the other way and then stops!? I've got Pro, how can I get this to work for me? ☹
hey hey, in the video she says it's ok if you do the text without grouping it into a box, but actually, you need to do it. I was having your same problem as I was highlighting the text to create the box effect rather than adding a square under it and grouping them, and I could only get that bouncy effect. If you group the text and the box, the effect works ;)

how did you highlight both options, it lets me click on the text or the box but not both

great tutorial. Is there a way to now take only the text ticker and turn it into a giphy? So i can use it in stories on socials? or as a "sticker" on videos? Right now it downloads as a square. I am looking for only the ticker. Have not found a single tutorial that tackles that. If you have any tips & tricks that would be super great! :)
You can just crop the video size. I made the scrolling text banner on a black background, then cropped the video. So, I was left with just the scrolling text that I can place on anything I want.

When i increased my time it just goes super slow no matter how fast i set the drift speed and also it only drifts the one for a bit then starts going back drifting the other way. Not continuously like here.. i just wanted to add a banner of moving text to a website.. does anyone know why ?
How did you get the dot as a spacer in between the text? I only have a period on my keyboard and it's not centered like your dot?

this is really dumb but actually seems like if you have less elements on a page the banner will slide faster. I have no idea why

This is awesome, except it starts drifting one way, then turns around. Any way to get it to just scroll in one direction?
I realized this was happening to me also, but that was because the text animation acts funky when you have another video along with the animation. I had to remove the video and only keep the animation. Then, I added the video afterwards. So, maybe try downloading the scrolling text, reupload to Canva, then try adding your video to it afterwards.
Sooooo.... the answer is no? They don't have a scrolling text bar
