They were going to air this on Adult Party Cartoon. But if I were to be honest, this feels like a normal Ren and Stimpy episode. You know, from the original series.
@@mergieismoronic true, it was originally meant to air on the original. Like you said, Nick hated George so it was rejected. In fact, I`m making a video of the original storyboards.

I kinda feel like that episode had the potential of turning the Adult Party reboot around into a decent path. It's actually putting the main character "Ren", and "Stimpy" into a interesting setting and is using the setting to their advantage. Of course it will never be as perfect as the original Nickelodeon version, but it's certainly an improvement from the first few episodes of the adult party Ren & Stimpy.
1. "Wilderness Adventure" was planned way back in the original first season and was not even going to be part of APC. 2. I feel APC is greatly over-hated. There were already actually some great episodes of it like Ren Seeks Help and Altruists, which I think are some of the best episodes in Ren and Stimpy history. So even IF this was part of the APC series, which it wasn't, I personally don't think it needed the help. The hate for APC is so over-exaggerated and over-blown and unfair. It wasn't NEARLY as bad overall as anyone says. It just happened to have episodes like Onward and Upwards that was terrible. It had a slow start, but it was ALREADY beginning to turn itself around. It's just that people keep ignoring the good episodes of it because they only ever came out on DVD.
@@the-NightStar What do you like about Altruists? The nearly 40 minute running time? The 5 minutes of the saw gag? The toilet gag? The procreational activity between a cat and a duck?

I absoutely disagree. I still think Ren Seeks Help is absolutely the pinnacle of the series, new or old. The APC episodes were hit and miss at best, sure, Onwards and Upwards is the WORST episode by far, but anyone who knows what they're talking about knows that Ren Seeks Help was the masterpiece of that series. Ren Seeks Help, Atruists, and Stimpy's Pregnant are at least the best three of that series. Onwards and Upwards, Naked Beach Frnezy and Fire Dogs 2 being the worst. I'm always annoyed when no one gives the GREAT episodes their due, because there were two great ones, one good one, two meh ones, and one awful one. APC was not nearly "AS" bad as people keep trying to say it was.
The duck looks sorta like Daffy especially during his crazy Tex Avery, Bob Clampett years! This is hilarious, too bad Bob Jaques or John K didn't animate this and made it into a episode. It probably would've been my favorite.
That's fine you're allowed to hate it, but I'm also allowed to enjoy it. Don't get me wrong seasons 1 and 2 of Ren and Stimpy will always be the best, but I'm one of those few people who actually enjoyed seasons 3-5 and APC, yes they definitely don't live up to seasons 1 and 2 and they have their flaws (for different reasons), but I still think there's some generally great moments in seasons 3-5 and even APC. Like I said you don't have to like APC, but that doesn't mean others aren't allowed to enjoy it or are wrong if they do.
EpicBroadcasting425 I remember hearing that this episode was originally planned for the original show, but moved to APC before ultimately being cancelled. This test looks like it was for the original show.

Carbunkle, Metrocel and Rough Draft did the best animation. Mr. Big Cartoons, Toon-Us-In and Yeson Entertainment was also amazing, but not as amazing as the other three. Big Star was alright, but they did better with the animation for Xilam shows and The New Woody Woodpecker Show.
Awww I these would have been great! I wish this could have been animated. Also love the drawings here! I'm not sure if anyone else think so, but Ren's character comes off as a little more...
