I disagree that "signal makes it very clear" that someone will not know you've blocked them. The signal support page makes two seemingly contradicting statements. First it says if you block somone, "Blocks the person from seeing your profile name and photo." Later it says "Your blocked contacts will not know that you have blocked them." If they suddenly cannot see your profile and photo, isn't that pretty clear evidence that you have blocked them?
If you have disappearing messages enabled will you get a notification that disappearing messages were disabled by the other user? I expect I was blocked but I can’t risk sending another message to see.

In my case, I didn't receive the message of one member of the group. Everyone received it but not me. I can still see the display pic of the person tho. So idk whether I am blocked or not. Is that normal in chat groups in Signal? Or that surely means that person blocked me?
Your message will still be sent even if you’re blocked they just won’t receive it, even though there will be two ticks and it says it’s been delivered. pretty stupid in my opinion on WhatsApp if you get blocked they’ll only be one tick and their profile pic will disappear
Yes it could appear that way. If it is not blocked, they could be reading some of the initial parts of the message via their pop up phone notifications....however much of the message shows up in the preview /intro
What does it mean when it says? … example (Daniel) is no longer marked as verified? And at the bottom says Your safety number with (Daniel) has changed. I didn’t change it so not sure what it means if I’m. Blocked or not I’m not going to try and send message. If anyone can answer would help as I’m confused?
So I blocked someone on signal, changed my number and updated my new number in the app after I blocked them .. would they be able to see my new phone number ??

If someone blocks you, will their icon photo still show, or will it go back to their initials?

If somebody blocks you will your message send or will it just not accept a message from you
