Barca improved not because Xavi announced his resignation but because Pau Cubarsi was introduced, Cristensen became d CDM and Ter Stegen returned. If there’s anything else that improved, it was Kounde getting his old form
back, or perhaps he wanted to raise his value bcuz he wanted out.
You're on point, but i think Kounde's and araujo's form improving was ter stegen's return. I'm a goalkeeper and a lot of people don't give the keeper credit for organizing their defense and giving them confidence. Inaki helped us a lot, but he didn't give the defense much confidence and it looked really unorganized. I think introducing cubarsi is by far the biggest reason we improved. His solid accurate passes to break the high pressure lines allow the defense to breath and our transition from defending to attacking is smoother and more lethal with him. I'm pretty sure it was cubarsi who gave lewandowski a really good pass which led to the first goal.
Jao Félix , jao cancelo, gudogan, curbarsi, yamal can all make that pass 😂😂😂 Felix literally did that last game . Why people so quick to forget how good Barcelona is at throwing dots
People are losing their undies over that amazing pass. However, we've also seen the same pass from Frenkie and Gundo to Rapha many times.
That's a typical Rapha run we've see. He's the best at Barca in terms of attacking spaces with his runs, and he's often decisive in big moments.

Barcelona played with PSGs goal keeper mentally it started at the corner kick when he left his goal to punch the ball but got beaten by Lewa then he also fumbled when he left his goal on Barcas first goal so at the third goal he was scared to leave his goal it’s not only physical it’s mental aswell

I don't think you guys understand how big of a g/a machine Raphinha is. He's come in clutch all season so far, also Raphinha has done more for us in the UCL that night than Dembele has done in his whole Barca career.

Not sure the other guy watched the match at all. Oh he actually admitted to watching the Athletico game. Mbappe had 3 shots, none was on target, he had 5 dribble attempt, just one successful, won only 2 duels contested, lets be real Mbappe had a bad game. Not disputing his quality, but he had a bad game.
i'd argue donnaruma was at fault for all 3 goals. 1st goal he slapped the ball straight to rapinha, 2nd goal he cleared the ball straight into barcelona and 4 seconds later pedri made that amazing pass and that third goal, that was just embarrassing. I play goalkeeper and as a keeper you have to be able to have control of your small area in front of goal. That square marked in front of goal, any professional keeper should have that area under control. You let someone head a ball from that spot then you messed up bad.
