Gordo usually starts his Ballymore horses at 2m which is a concern as I’ve only backed AM for Ballymore. May need to get him onside for the Spud race before his run 2mo
Great Show as always lads. Word of advice , do your homework. Know as much as you can, Trainer, jockey and horse. Then stand back and logically look at a race. Dave don't try harder to pick winners, like premiership strikers the harder you try, the less you score. Let it flow, be in the zone,, don't get frustrated, you are putting your heads over the parapet from the trenches. Many take pleasure in seeing others fail, ignore THEM, and remember you have a lot of support behind you and hope you do well
Remember that on the dark days.

With Barry the butcher getting ready for a November run, it wouldn’t surprise me if he turned up in March. De Bromhead not known for major bumper success, but if anyone can spoil the party, it’s him.
I also think American mike will go for the bartlett (not suggesting he will win), he’s a chaser and that for me is the time to catch him.
He looks a really exciting prospect Jake. One thing I would say is Croke Park, who finished 2nd to Barry in a PTP and subsequently sold for £400,000 after winning NTO, is a real slow boat and hasn’t lit up the gallops at Gordon’s.

I watched bravesmangame race again and l think Cocden was sitting pretty but how much was in the tank lm not sure. I think he empty’s off he had to battle something, he does like Kempton but it’s a stayer that wins and for me allaho price is nice

We'll find out how good Bravemansgame is if Allaho turns up in the King George. It's not the jumping that would be the worry but if he can go the gallop Allaho can which puts so many horses in trouble a long way out. Personally can't see allaho being beaten.
Not just allaho but most horses in the Mullins yard could beat BMG... just look at last year's king George! Back the Mullins outsider riden by Danny Mullins and get paid( like I did last year 😁)

Really enjoying the chats lads BUT to try and put an ante-post list together is going to be littered with holes. Firstly, we get more places nearer the day plus injuries and so many options of races scuppers our bets.

I don’t think he’s better than Constitution Hill but I do believe he’s well-handicapped and it wouldn’t be a surprise for a horse to drastically improve under Jonjo.

Andy is right. Why do people always want to do different things all the time? Take Altior for example, was winning grade 1’s and winning the QMCC, but the usual suspects were moaning and clamouring for him to go up in trip. Why? He was a 2 miler and winning grade 1 races over 2 miles. What’s this constant obsession with wanting to change things all the time.
What a ridiculous comment.
For a legacy he had to step up. He was beating absolutely nothing at 2miles.
I’ll educate you on sport…
Take boxing for an example Justin. A boxer unifies (that means wins all the belts) in his/her division, what do they do then? They move up in weight to try and do the same, to cement their name, they don’t just go round beating the same again!!
Altior needed to try longer trips if he wanted to be remembered as a great, the 2mile opposition he was facing and beating was the worst for many a year hence the call from the knowledgeable folk for Hendo to really test him, which he did and which the horse failed handsomely. Altior is one of the most overrated horses in the past 25 years.
