New Sharon Maine Veterans Memorial

Some small Maine towns lacking a Civil War monument are erecting modern monuments dedicated to all the town's veterans, their names often listed by each particular war. Located on Route 2 near Farmington, the town of New Sharon sited its modern veterans' monument at the municipal complex just off Route 2.
