✨ How to Design & Dot this lovely Art Mandala! With tips, tricks & fixes, on Rapid Set Cement stone

- Today I’m bringing you along, explaining and sharing some of my design decisions, changes, mistakes and fixes as I go.
As many of you already know, I don’t plan my designs ahead of time. I choose my substrate (usually a stone), base color, paint and I begin. Afterwards, it’s not uncommon for me to sift through 5, 6, 7 or more hours of video and edit it down and do the voiceover for a reasonably short tutorial.
So, I hope this will help you relax and enjoy your art. There’s nothing wrong with experimenting, making mistakes or changing your mind as you go.

Waverly Chalk - Pool
Folk Art - Metallic Midnight Blue, Rose Shimmer, Color Shift Blue Flash (optional), Metallic White,
Folk Art Treasure Gold - Blue Quartz
Folk Art Glitter paint - Hologram & Turquoise
Acrylic White (any)

I am soooo happy this video showed up on my home page on UA-cam!! I found you a while back and became a subscriber because your art is beautiful and you have such a unique way of making the “borders” around your designs and then I had an incident where I lost all of my UA-cam subscriptions. I was so frustrated……I didn’t remember the names of everyone, so I kept searching mandala dotting, dot art, etc, hoping to find them. The hardest thing for me, is selecting my base color. After that, a few colors that I think will go with it, and sometimes, something that is totally weird!! I’m often surprised at how my weirdest colors end up looking great together. 😅
Honestly, I don’t plan, I just dot. If I don’t like it, I’ll scrape it off and do something else. I very often go back and change a color or design element as I go along.
No rules! Have fun! Experiment! I promise, you’ll be surprised at what you can do!!! 🥰❤️
