The worst thing for us Djs is to go to a place and the equipment is not working correctly, sometime this throws a dj mood off. I agree this was a Great set and I must say remember House is a feeling; true house heads are slaves to the rhythm; thats why we walked in the clubs back in the day dancing as soon as we heard that thump'n sound at the door.

Such a different seen from the days we used to jump off the speakers and do pirouettes at the Bismarck in the 80s. Ron Hardy and Lil Louis bangin the box all night. Niggas, THAT'S HOUSE!!!! No one will ever know how it was unless you witnessed the birth of it all in my beloved Chicago! These little kids in the background playing with their little lights and shit have no clue. Its even funnier travelling and living outside of Chi and going to clubs and listen to what others consider house. That shit is POP! SF, LA, NY aint got sheeyat on true Chicago house and our DJs. .

Frankie would have his days BUT The, an SAT Nothing but Ron, then WHEN Gene came I was Like OK Young prototype, yo Joe, WHAT happen to these MF we STILL want THAT banging Shit, it's kind of hard to find it!!!! These people complaining...Gene was amazing..The clubs monitors could not be moved cuz they moved the dj booth for the show, so he was playing without monitors for almost his whole set until new monitors arrived at the end of his set....

I just thought the same. Look like they're standing around waiting for a bus or in line at the supermarket. Talking, sending messages, more into themselves than the music. Still, looks like they are having a good time in their own way and that's what's important I guess.
On a different note great to see Robert Williams appear in shot at 49:30.
They are DJs and event staff...My experience in doing shows being back/ on-stage is NOT all its hyped up to be. When im back stage and some one else is spinning Im usually analyzing the other DJ,s technique see if i can pick up something new, talking to other DJs and event promoters, preparing for a set, or getting drunk. The only time its really a party backstage is when there is a super famous DJ you dont get to see very often that isnt from the local scene spinning.

Does anyone know camera's they use for the Boiler room sessions? I need something that will be able to last around 4 hours and will be decent quality like this, but the sound quality doesn't matter as the music will be recorded through my software digitally.
pretty sure you could use a current goPro in 4k. Inbuilt stability would avoid camera shake from bass if youre playing it loud enough
