Great well thought out Dealership, driving into the service lane is similar to Inchcape Derby where the Vehicle is checked over for any dents marks etc before its worked on, fantastic idea
Not sure about “whisking away” cars at service bay. After handing over car keys, I then waited around for a good 30 mins for my “Service Manager” only to sign a piece of paper that mirrored exactly what I’d asked for over the phone.. i.e. do the annual service 🤷🏻♂️. I was one very pissed off bunny. Pointless red-tape. I’m a died in the wool JLR customer having had since 2004 many LR Disco’s, Disco Sport, RR, RR Sport and F-Pace, … but I’m not so stupid as to recognise that all this glossy chrome and glass isn’t getting paid for by anyone else but me! This is a multi million investment which perhaps may have been better invested in heat-soaking out software bugs with infotainment system etc. I still love the products and yes of course I appreciate the less “oily rag” environment and yes I expect that from my Porsche and Ferrari dealership, but even so….
I think that's how most businesses work. They profit from customer's spending money. They build their business based on profits. I don't know of many businesses that open up to operate at a deficit. 🤷🏻♂️
As far as their in car audio systems are concerned. Most if not all their issues are hardware related and not software related. Regardless most dealerships have a service department for a reason. Every brand. Every single one. Every single one has their own string of problems. No different then JLR.
And now the company stops production of all it's flagship Jag gasoline powered cars, and the dealerships are screwed! LOL Now converting into a fancy used car lot. Just 3 years later!

The customer pays for tbese showrooms! Pity JLR don’t give the same attention to reliability!
