I work hella far from home for the army right now so I haven't gotten to thrift as much but every once in a while I sit back with some whiskey and binge watch you and paul. SO THANK YOU for being an inspiration. great finds man. I fw everything Taz that you find but that shining shirt goes hard.
My best thrift pickups were mostly personals. Alpha Industries Nasa Bomber Jacket for $38, a pair of Hudson Skinny jeans that fit perfect for $10 Supreme/ Champion Puffer vest for $24, and a vintage pair of Levi's work cargo pants that fit 10/10.
My big come up 2021 was a 1984 JI Joe Nightboomer Black jet, bought for 5$ goodwill toyrack.....sold for 650$!!! It was incomplete so took an offer but complete its a 1k plane! All thanks to you Jacob! And Paul Cantu! For getting me into it.
The BEST curated and BEST edited content in the vintage realm out there. STILL 🔥 Jacob. Easily my favorite on UA-cam. And ur right, we NW folk don’t seem to find much old street wear in the the thrift. But that’s never stopped us from looking.
My latest obsession from the thrifts are vintage flannels. I’ve always picked them up for the pattern or color. But the last two weeks I’ve picked up like 15-20 vintage flannels. Some crazy patters on these. So good.
my fav thrift of 2021 was a blank faded Russell Pro Cotton tee. nothing special but it's hard to find genuine vintage blank tees in my area I was ecstatic 😂 also a beautiful teal Russell sweater, some vintage uniqlo (underrated) and these wide heavyweight reversible cargo-esque jeans (other side is silver all with enclosed stitching)
I copped some 2001 Noir anime tee that was not worn for like $4 probably my best pickup. Definitely showed me some stuff I’m now interested in. Your vids are the best thank you for motivating and entertaining me.
I made a list of the top 10 vintage shirts I want .I've found 6 of the 10 so far in the thrift mainly the Salvation army . The motto is be patient ,and be diligent . There are days where I find nothing. There's a goodwill I've been going to for months and found nothing everytime . I finally found a grail piece there , a black Foo Fighters jacket I think is from 2016 with the FF on the front and back. Guys don't give up ,the grails are there if you're willing to invest the time .
Steam? Would be interesting to see how you clean and wash your vintage, I usually just do a delicate load and air dry but certain shirts with holes make me nervous about washing
Appreciate all the stuff you do man. I’ve always been into thrifting but you opened up a world of reselling, learning about vintage, and just overall fashion. Much love for that🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Happy new year! I’ve been following since the karmaloop days and the growth is real man. Thank you for sharing you journey with us! I’ve always appreciated your eye even as you moved to different places in fashion. I personally like pieces like the hunting jacket and varsity jacket because they represent how fashion and style can be timeless
I never find anything ever and when I do it’s usually way overpriced but I’m happy about finding a vintage devo shirt and vintage all over nascar shirt. Goodwill has been getting greedy and telling me they price their stuff according to eBay
Start thrifting at the Salvation army. Goodwill won't even take the really old pieces anymore. Plus the Salvation has 1/2 price days . Keep going you 'll definitely find pieces especially 90's pieces and ask the people work there about how often trucks come in .
Your vid was awesome man . Really inspired me to pop out more to the thrift with hopes to find something different that I really like 🤝 I started thrifting for the tees but I found myself being wayyy too happy with the pants and jeans I’d find
Worked at a thrift store last year taking in donations. Found some of the coolest clothes I’ll ever find in my life. 80’s Bon Jovi, Grateful Dead, Michael Jackson, Rambo, and Subway shirts. 70’s/80’s ringer tees. Tons of vintage toys and random shit. Going to miss it, but it was hell most of the time. You all would shit a brick if you saw how much vintage shit gets recycled or just thrown away. I pulled $100+ vintage snap backs out of dumpster on multiple occasions. Absolutely nothing wrong with them. One was dead stock.
Oh so your the reason that thrift stores suck now. Bins are good and maybe church thrifts in the middle of nowhere but alot of places have people pulling shit in the back
@@sylasmalone6126 if you saw the shit that we went through, you’d call it a perk of the job. Plus, like I said, many things get thrown away if they aren’t washed. I saved a sick 90s looney tunes and Harley shirt from getting thrown away simply because they weren’t washed. I also made sure to personally hook people up who came in with vintage clothes on.
Always love the vids man! My best vintage piece is my dirty bunny Sonic youth tee. Single stitched but it’s in my personal collection until I receive an offer I can’t refuse.
@@emoburger42069 Great piece though. The one I'm hoping to find is the white Goo album promotion shirt with the lyrics to Louie Louie on the front plus a drawing of a girl in tap shoes by Pettibon.
I ain't find that many things anymore. I only have racks where I live really. The pandemic killed a lot of the store's workforces so they don't process clothes or really anything nearly as much as they used to, and I guess people don't donate men's clothing as much either so it's been few and far between for me. My best friend is a girl and I've been learning more about women's clothes to find her some cool things mainly now. All that said, my best thrift finds this past year is a Toy Story 1 promo tee with Mr. Potato Head on it (listed for ~$200+ on eBay) in terms of value, but my favorite is probably this 2008 TMNT shirt that says "High on Life, Not on Drugs" and I can't seem to find any shirt like it online and it has a really nice fade to it too.
I been having a hard time selling my shirts well I haven't sold any lol only have about 100 rn but I'm starting to feel like I'm buying them more for me lol because they haven't been selling I really wanna source stuff I like i.e. I love cool shirts
@@starrlife Definitely my man! I used to live out in Seattle and Everett but back in AZ now where I was born and raised. I want to start my own online shop called "Second string vintage clothing" ( cause I was always "2nd string " growing up in sports cause I sucked and string like clothing and 2nd time around. Definitely not as cool as Thrift Row lol. I really would love to do business with you maybe I could help you out in the future with getting some items that are on this side of the states. You are a big inspiration and me wanting to start selling. I would definitely give you a great deal on any of the shirts I have but I literally have a few 100 so I'm not sure if I should take photos of all of them and send them to you? Lots of cool Harley Davidson's, rock bands, a dope 2 pac shirt lots of gems

I just found a vintage Metal Gear Solid Shirt on eBay. Got it for My Brother. He’s a huge fan. I think he’ll love it.
It was a pretty rare pick-up.

Wow someone donated a Supreme vest????

I’m from WA state too, Been making thrift videos on this page for nearly 10 years now, you’ve inspired me to start doing it again.
I remember when thrift city first opened a while back, I got my first and only pair of heelys there as a kid. Nostalgic.

2022 Thrift Finds boutta hit different!💥🔥
Favorite find I found this year was a vintage popwar skateboards tee 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I just found your channel today. I'm a reseller too. Already subscribed!
I acquired a super grail known as The Wedding Singer. It is the movie poster one. I have sold it already for a undeniable offer
You got an eye for quality. Its time to start a boutique. Grailed has been my most used app of 2021-2022
Dope video that DK tee is fire its crazy the amount of steals you find when you hit the thrifts as much as you do
So we just not about to talk about that transition wow ! 🔥
Great video, I loved it, I love anything vintage, love the old tshirts
That 6th Ave Goodwill is crazy! I started reselling and I have got hundreds of items just from that one store.
My favorite find is a team arctic cat racing snowmobile jacket that came with another jacket inside of it for $13 at the racks
Do a vid on how you care for your tees!!!
Always a huge inspiration bro🔥❤
You had some banger pick ups this year, loved the video as always
been loving the recent content brother keep it up
