I agree. I discovered this movie a couple years back as I was only 3 when it came out. I found it on a list of movies that promised sequels yet didn't happen. I love the ending the most, just because it is pure 80's bliss, and it brings me to my childhood again.

Goldblum's character thought he was joining the band and some of the band members had western sounding names Rawhide, Pecos etc so perhaps he thought he should dress cowboy.

When the cast was marching down the streets a truck was following them and supposed to blast out the ending music. But the theme hadn't been finished yet, so the director decided to use a song that was close to what they were planning to use. They blasted out Billy Joel's "Uptown Girl" instead. You can see how the cast reacts: Some try to ignore it, others seem amused by it, a few (like the little kid) just think what the heck and groove LOL

First saw this flick in 1986 when Fox only aired movies in the week nights. The movie is a all-over the place sci-fi comedy but it is very enjoyable and loved it more as I got older. This is the best closing title ever as it does look like a MV. Man this is old now as everybody in the movie dresses in the New Wave 80s style only Duran Duran or the Human League could pull off!

When a couple of doctors figured out how to pass through solid matter (Banzai and Lizardo) - they encountered aliens from the 8th dimension that tried to take over the world. It was up to Team Banzai to stop them. Simple plot, honestly. But the alien Rastafarians were not happy with those 8th dimension aliens being in our dimension, so they (the Rastafarian aliens) vow to destroy Earth to stop them if necessary. So there's a lot of pressure on Dr. Banzai.
