The East Midlands I generally tend to think of the 3 cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Derby. I know obviously Loughborough and Burton upon Trent are reasonable sized places as well. Plus, you also have the East Midlands airport between Nottingham and Leicester although to be fair I think that it principally operates more as an airport for Cargo and Freight rather than passengers. I know that East Midlands airport does have some passenger flights but not a huge percentage of its overall air traffic. However I don't think that people are too much further from either Birmingham International or Manchester international airports.
I live in Nottingham and travelled on this route and filmed some of it. When I travelled, the buses were Scania Omnidekkas. I like the fact that the livery uses the colours of the original South Notts Bus Co. before NCT bought it. All NCT buses are cleaned at night. The next stop display gives the next three stops. My only criticism of NCT is the size of the fleet name on the buses. It should be larger in my opinion as Nottingham City is difficult to read from a distance.
This bus has very little or no rattles and engine and gearbox sound very well maintained From what I’ve observed of Nottingham city transport they really look after Their vehicles This driver was very smooth and calm Also seems like the roads in Nottingham are quite well maintained especially in comparison to Manchester etc
Look at the way driver negotiates these lights 15:35 He can see they're on red so off the gas and a low speed aproach arriving just as they turn green , perfectly smooth , no jolting for passengers , no wasted gas.
I must say that after watching a great many of the different Batman movies I am somewhat surprised at the fact GOTHAM isn't it bit bigger. The other thing was, I thought it was set in the US and not somewhere in the East Midlands, 30 minutes from Nottingham City bus station.😜
Proud to say I work for them the buses look clean on camera compared to some operators. 1 is my fave i’ve driven
I enjoyed myself so much watching this! Love it! Thanks!
So glad!

That last point isnt quite correct. Alot of the roads alot of people here think should be repaved cos there can sometimes be alot of potholes.
@ yeah actually I’ve been back since and yeah I noticed

At First bus they use the smiths training system to do this
Most drivers don’t once on road tho
All drivers should do this, car not just buses. It is good driving.
@@1mgvideo it’s also good for eco driving braking systems last longer and it keeps you mentally perked up
