the ippon version where he touches the leg gets you disqualified, its illegal to touch the legs.

judo is more than IJF rules. These rules are killing judo
@@vicentemera1128 No they are not killing anything. Competition rules change in any sports for the benefit of the competition, still any sports can include traditional techniques in their training. Adapt or die.
@@diynevalayes they ate killing the martial aspect of judo. The "adapt or die" garbage does not apply here because the adaptation in this case itself is death. Rules change in every sport for "benefit of competition", says who? The cause of rule change is not always competition benefit, its also aesthetics which is the primary cause behind the leg grab ban rule by the IJF, absolutely jackshit to do with benefit of the competition.
