Okay here's my view. Imperfect people are making products and sometimes there's problems and that's going to happen. How the product is taken care of at that point is really what matters. As long as the warranty work is fixed properly and quickly is what's important.

The problem is the current "norm" is they are NOT being fixed quickly or properly..

For the money they charge, the mileage issue should be limited. Wear and tear happens, but frame issues are not acceptable.

Great video JD, I watch both you and Josh’s channels, and have for over 5 years within days of each other. Great information on both channels and both honest, fair, and trustworthy. The knowledge and information is priceless in my opinion. Some may say “Josh works a dealership and is biased” to the contrary, he is honest and points out the pros and cons as does JD. These collaborations are awesome and I have truly enjoyed seeing the past 2 you, Josh, and Jake have done. Much needed and looking forward to more. Keep up the great work on all your videos. Although I drive a half ton Chevy, I enjoy the videos and honesty you share. Not brand loyal and appreciate the information you share. 👍🏻👍🏻

Well thought out and well presented gentlemen! My wife and I researched for a year and looked at everything and early on it became clear of the attention to details that were paid on the better models. Things like trim and gaps, slide mechanism choices, toilets and cabinet construction could be vastly different between manufacturers. You guys validated my choice of Choosing Flagstaff in todays video. Not saying mine was perfect but the issues have been minor and along with choosing a great product I also chose a great dealer who treats me like I am their best customer every time I walk through their doors.
Keep up ALL of your great, informative, honest and entertaining content on all of the channels. Your efforts are very much appreciated….
Oh, and Happy Thanksgiving to you and your families.

I spent my last 5 years as a contract administrator in public transit. We bought lots of new buses each year and guess what busses have in common with RVs? They are completely custom built vehicles that are designed and hand built. The big difference, buses have to go through certification testing to ensure they meet certain requirements and safety standards. For example a public transit bus must be able to go at least 500,000 miles over the 12-year life of the bus. Nothing like that kind of reliability testing exists in the RV industry.

Good discussion and information. I personally think Covid was a huge factor in creating a whole new RV customer and use. A lot of people purchased RV's and traveled far more than RV's consumers did prior to Covid. Many of the new Rv'ers are younger, utilized social media and created a lot of media content of their RV journey. Any issues with their RV's were immediately communicated out to the masses, while at the same time RV companies were struggling with suppliers, labor and supply chain issues. This perfect storm coupled with a few of the once popular RV companies not stepping up to address the issues, has created a very real loss of credibility and confidence in the RV industry.

Like the major automakers, RV’s have flaws, issues too. Buy an extended warranty but understand this. It’s difficult to find service from a dealer who didn’t sell you the RV. This is an industry issue. The manufacturer needs to fix this. As well finding a dealer to get behind the manufacturer. Lastly, the manufacturer depends which one may or may not support you. Bottom line the dealer in my experience is the first line to fix issues. The dealer can make a huge difference. Make sure you have a great dealer and service department. Once an RV is dialed in 1-2 years depending on use - shake out the issues. The issues are roof, tires, exterior maintenance and basic preventative maintenance care for the interior.

RV Manufacturers R Just as greedy as dealers R lately that's Sad😢.
We as Customers shouldn't have to be dealing with theses problems.

Been binge watching Liz Amazing, customer service is terrible it seems, not buying another camper again and we have had 3.
We looked at a 23 XLR Micro Boost 301LRLE (sales lady clueless), this thing looked like a bomb went off. Cabinets falling off, trim didnt match. I unhooked the garage bench seat and the whole thing fell off the wall.
We ended up in a left over 22 XLR Boost 32RZR14 because it was the 3 smallest camper we could tow with my 2020 Chevy 2500 and be within every spec,
Looking at it the other day the pin box itself looks bent… still havent gotten the water heater to fire other than 1 time, only been used 3 times. Probably why its still together.
If we weren’t so underwater on this unit, id sell it, buy a barebones gooseneck cargo trailer, put a bed and toilet in it and go racing vs a fancy toy hauler. Save 5 feet of height too.

@btbrv you need to check your Brinkley pricing. They only allow dealers to advertise msrp, my Z3100 I was able to for about $15k more than a Jayco or GD. They are heavier and more expensive, but I think worth the money.
