Karasuno winning against Seijoh was such a bittersweet moment for me. I was happy for our team but so sad for Oikawa and his teammates. Oikawa is one of my top 3 best characters in Haikyuu, I love his so much!
If you want to watch more of the "silver hair guys team" (Bokuto), watch the Haikyuu OVAs called "Land vs Sky." There are two of them. WATCH AFTER SEASON 3. Basically we've been watching the spring tournament in the Miyagi Prefecture, but the OVA covers the spring tournament in Tokyo. >>>LIKE SO THEY SEE THIS

@@f.b.iagent8775 They are OVAs. OVAs, from what i understand, is just the title given to something that was direct-to-video. Most OVAs are made as bonus episodes for the dvd/bluray release of a season, sometimes they're canon and sometimes they're basically filler and/or fanservice.
But there have been entire arcs of shows that were OVAs (HxH 1999's greed island arc was entirely OVA)
It's a shame that stuff from the manga ended up as OVAs because a lot of people end up not seeing them.

It's so dumb how Rob still didn't understand this is not about just one player, and if it was, it would be about Hinata, not Kageyama. But the shows shows the development of every player from Karasuno and every team so damn well. It's a shame he's not enjoying 90% of the anime, and only cheering for one player.
Rob doesnt like characters who get to much shine or are popular or likeable. Instead he goes for the dark ones or the ones the guys dont usually root for and belittles the one that is his favorites rival. Thats why he always shits on Hinata and not the other players. The others at least root for the whole team and knows they are a great duo.

I'm done, I can't continue season 3 with you guys with Rob poisoning the reaction and discussion. More than half the time the discussion ends up being about some ridiculous statement he makes instead of the actual plays that happen or moments between the characters. This episode and his mockery of the opposing team makes it clear this guy doesn't know what a team sport is and that he'll continue hating or disregarding not just Hinata but the other characters as well. They legit couldn't have won this without Tanaka making that save at the end or Daichi receiving Oikawa's save or their Pinch Server. Every single person was responsible for this win. If Rob didn't speak that would be fine but I keep having to mute him or skip forward and it's just too annoying.
They couldn't even enjoy the moment Kageyama reversed positions with Oikawa on the floor because he kept shouting his ridiculous argument about who the better setter is. Getting one play or even one win doesn't equate to you being better. Shiratorizawa has been defeating Seijo repeatedly yet still their ace recognizes Oikawa as the best.

I've been a fool for hoping Rob eventually comes around because this is one rare anime where you end up loving _all_ the characters, not even just the protagonists. Oikawa really is such a good character. Although he is better at the moment, he knows that his hardwork will eventually be overtaken by Kageyama's hardwork and talent. Just the strongest 6 won today as Kags evolved during the game. That ushijima scene is straight chilling too 😬

“talent is something you make bloom, instinct is something you polish” is oikawa actually realising talent isn’t something you’re born with and is amazing character development. furadate (the mangaka) has said it himself, that this game was oikawa basically letting go of the mindset that he can’t beat “geniuses”, and letting go of the concept of “genius” altogether. some people are born lucky, yes, but they don’t get anywhere without polishing their instincts. those people’s talent might bloom earlier and faster, yes, but that doesn’t mean yours won’t. that doesn’t mean you should stop working hard and polishing your instincts. after all, if those talented people worked hard to get where they’re at now, why shouldn’t you?

And I think Rob really needs to put more respect on Hinata right now. The only reason Kageyama can shine as much as he does is because he has a spiker than can match his abilities. This is the first time Hinata has played on a real team and he is already the key offense for the team. His natural abilities are frightening given his lack of formal training. Kageyama and a lot of the other dudes (on Karasuno and on the other teams) have been on proper teams and are years ahead in training but Hinata is so quickly closing in on them 👊🏽👌🏽💪🏽
