When I do parley it will be a group of heavy favorites, and I will money line them. I did good with this on NBA games. I called it dying for Zion parlays

There used to be another show with 3 guys and 1 pretty blonde girl hosting also. She usually just stands on a podium and the 3 guys are mostly on videochat screens. I forgot which show is that but I remember their fun banters.
What makes sense if you're betting for action, you'll lose 7 out of 10 times. The Pros that win 6 out of 10 times have the edge. This is why talking about college football and college basketball, the smaller mid-major conferences can win more money on the sharps because those games are given as much attention. Also diversity in moneyline where the gap is smaller reduces the risk if you want to do a straight moneyline than a spread.

I can't go with the advice to bet close to the same amount on every game.
I bide my time with small bets until I see something I really like.
I try and pay close attention to 4 teams in our own NFC division and
see if they look like they are an especially good or bad bet that week.
Trying to watch & analyze 32 teams is too hard to do.
Just moved to Vegas I have a question ? How much money can you win without having to report it to IRS? I heard if you win over 10k on a bet they report it. My next question is if you bet and win a lot of money thru out the year do you have to report it ?
Technically yes, normally people do not which is why uncle sugar eventually knocks on the front door.
when you go to collect and they have you fill out a form and at the end of the year you receive a 1099 you have to report that money no matter what because the casino sent you and the irs a 1099 form stating you received that money.
technically if you win more than $400 in the year irs wants their part of the cake. will have to report in schedule c as a business. if you are a pro gambler. big difference between pro gambler and not
Yes it counts as a job you also pay fees to bookies & government taxes
Works like this as long as you don't cash in or bet over 10k in a day it won't be reported to irs , don't bet more than $1000 in a single bet , or don't have a single ticket with a payout more than 10k
the future bets are good bc u don't have to worry about betting a team each week and if the team loses it usually doesn't matter. to make playoffs.
What should be your max bet in comparison to your bankroll? 4-5%??
We usually do 5% max.
Depend on your win %... if you win 1 out of 3 bet you can bet 20% of it and be winner on the long run
@@oullerslb yeah I agree but you shouldn't be betting 20% of your stack. Its a long climb in the sports betting game not an overnight payday
Ypur right! But i always cash out my winnings instantly and only keeps 200$ max on my bankroll so of course 20% isnt that much... i found that cashing out your winnings right away is better than trying up your bankroll to 1k lets say.

The best advice is just flip a coin and close your eyes, bet whatever team the coin says.
The best bet in sports is betting against Nadal winning Wimbledon. Because he has just won the French open for the millionth time. He will be over valued at Wimbledon. And probably wont even make the final. My advice oppose him of he gets through the first 2 rounds. The value on his opponents will be as high as 10/1.
