- This one will be a rant. I wanted to offer my very biased thoughts on the new CZ Scorpion 3+.

I agree with you. Not working with the old mags was a stupid decision on CZ's part!

Well I fell for the CMMG gimmick in .45ACP, but there aren't a million other options in that caliber. I appreciate the feedback.
I tend to agree with this too. I prefer a double stack / double feed mag for any PCC/rifle application as it is easier to feed and more reliable with that bolt design and action.
@@dooshbagwithagun6515 yup double stack is the way to go on these little guys. Not Glawk mags.
Agree! Scorpion is so cool. And all it takes is a little training and your good to go.
I love the classic model with the 7 3/4" barrel. It ain't an MP5, but it is way more affordable (as are the mags) and it is plenty accurate and fun to shoot.

Having to had endured the 94 AWB, I've spent my time these last 18 years accumulating as many mags as possible. With that, I had to plan out the platforms I'd use and keep the types of mags to minimum. AR mags and Glock mags...
When the Scorpion was released I thought wow! But does it take Glock mags???
So I got a couple of Quarter Circle 10 AR 9mm and 45ACP, that take Glock mags....
Oh BTW except those PCC ARs, I use a Robinson Armament XCR-L 5.56/7.62X39 as my primary... The PCCs were for fun. Robinson Armament says they will release a PCC version that takes Glock mags. Yeah... Still waiting...

I totally understand people that want a 9mm PCC with AR ergonomics to use for affordable training. These changes to the CZ still don't give that feel, so it is part "AR" and part "other". I didn't think there would be much of an audience for this, but in the time since I filmed this video to now I have seen quite a few videos of people that were sold on the changes. So I guess someone is happy. But whatever. I ain't gotta buy one and I can still get mags either way.

I got one of the Scorpion 3 plus 7.8 inch non micros and I love it. Your complaints are fair and the faux suppressor was a son of a bitch to take off.
CZ has some proprietary blend of loctite, rocksett, and gorilla glue. And they use it liberally. Those boys are crazy. Thanks for the feedback!

My brother and I didn’t have cable TV growing up. We watched a lot of really crappy B movies on VHS from a rural video rental place.
@@SilverShamrockNovelties ahhh ha! I knew I saw the movie but I could not place it. I remember that. Wasnt it Haleys Comet that was coming through when that movie came out? I was just a kid but I remember being worried the movie was going to come true lol.
@@SilverShamrockNovelties we got cable TV when it first became available in our area. We had a big box that sat on top of the console TV with like 33 channels operated by a slider on the box. I think our town had like 8000 people at the time. I remember riding my bike up to the small hometown video rental place. It was such a simple life. I life that I miss.
@The Watchman News that movie holds a special place in our childhood. I have an extended version of that clip in my "Extras" video about the "Q Comparison". Not that I am trying to get you to suffer through another one of my videos, but it is there if you wanted.
